Prepregnancy I was probably a 6, now I'm a solid 4, some days a 3. We're both pretty satisfied though, so I don't feel too bad about it.

A 4!! I hate hate hate cleaning. An I don't have motivation to make dinner the nights dh works at night. I make dinner a couple times a week. And I don't clean every day, But every couple days and i usually don't do a very good job Lol. I'm getting better and I have resolved to care for this apt a lot better since our damage deposit is a lot higher lol

@chopsuey119: To me a 7 is like 70% so it equates to a C in my head, which in school was average lol.

I used to be awesome. Then I became a mom. Infact I barely packed DH lunch again YESTERDAY for the first time and LO is 6 months today.. haha!

Pre-baby I was probably a 7-8...these days I'm a 4 on a good day. I'd just prefer spend my time when E's asleep taking a long bath and shower and spending time with my husband rather than scrubbing things.

I am a 6 and lower on some days. I have learned to look away!

I would say an 8. Our home is always tidy but lately I have been slacking and having DH make dinner most nights because I am just to tired. Even when DH makes dinner though I do the dishes and clean up the mess.

I'm a four. Luckily my husband is an amazing man and doesn't notice a mess and we both know how poorly I cook.

I'd say a solid 6, funny though, pre-baby I was a 4-5. Now that she's here I feel compelled to keep the house cleaner.

5......but in my defense my husband works like 80 hours a week so I have little to no help with anything house related (grocery shopping, bill paying, cooking, cleaning) and a 4.5 month old.

I gave myself a 5. I'm job hunting right now, so I could be devoting a lot of time to homemaking, but I just don't have any interest. I do all the dishes, laundry, and cleaning, though. It's just not spectacular and my office is a huge mess.

Maybe a 4. I suck at cleaning and organizing. I'm a really good cook though!

I'm a 4... I figure I'm a little below average. Like @winniebee, my DH works a ton of hours, so I pretty much do it all at home... But on a good day (like when my mom comes over, lol), I'm at least a 7!
It's actually better than when I didn't have kids... I feel the need to clean and be organized more with them!

I gave myself a 1! I can't cook for beans and I hired a cleaner. When I do laundry I'm exhausted for the whole day and it literally makes me cranky. Before I had my own washer and dryer I use to drop off my laundry and pay the lady there to wash, dry and fold my clothes. those were the days... I'd fail as a sahm!

For cleaning, I'm probably a 3... before baby I was a 5. I HATE cleaning. However, I love laundry and cooking. I'm at least an 8 in cooking.

I'd say 8 if you don't count the bathrooms. I hate cleaning the bathrooms and since DH doesn't do it, they get disgusting.

6 on a good day, haha. But now that we started having a cleaning lady come monthly, my cleaning has significantly diminished because I just think, "oh, she'll be here next week, I don't need to vacuum..."

I'd give myself a solid 8 in general, with extra points for tidiness. Baby will have something to say about that...!

I would say 6, some days 7. If I had the time I would be an 8 or 9!
cantaloupe / 6751 posts
Pre-baby, I'd say 9 (even with working full time!) - I was so meticulous about keeping my house clean. Now, I'm probably a 7 or 8

Probably a 2. I'm a fantastic cook, but my husband does 80-90% of the cooking now and almost 100% of the cleaning. Which is why I'm not a homemaker!
honeydew / 7589 posts
I'm a 9. Because... even though I'm great at all these household things, I lack motivation sometimes. So even though I CAN do everything, I don't always actually DO it.

DH does most of the cleaning since I became pregnant. With my work schedule and the kids I am just exhausted. I don't know how long it's been since I did the laundry or dishes. He's awesome lol
Oh and I put 4 cause sometimes I don't suck and I do all the cooking.

I voted 7. For working full-time and being in grad school, I'd say I do a dang good job of keeping the house clean, laundry done, and cooking 2-3 times per week. I do love cooking and I truly wish I had more time to do it, though!
honeydew / 7444 posts
In my mind, i'm a 7 but compared to the average housewife, an 8 or 9! I keep the house clean, pack DH's lunches and dinners (for when he works late), cook almost daily, do laundry, and iron all of DH's shirts.
bananas / 9227 posts
I can cook, but I suck at cleaning. They cancel each other out, but since DH cares more about the cooking, I'd say an 7.5
eggplant / 11287 posts
I am an eight or a nine. Even when I am stressed I keep a very clean house, am a very good cook, cook every night and sometimes bake dessert, and I make my hubby's lunch. I also weed and plant and help take care of the backyard.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
I'd say I'm a 6. I clean and cook, but either or both of those can fall behind when I get too busy with work or am too tired. I play catch up on it all when I have a day off though.
