While I don't think you're overfeeding her formula, it could be that she's just not that hungry for solids. At that age, I was giving roughly the same amount of formula he had 2 meals a day. I didn't start reducing formula intake until around his first birthday, but what I did do was reduce the number of bottles I was giving. By his birthday, he was on 3 bottles a day. Then I started reducing the amount of formula per bottle and giving more solids...then cut out a bottle every few weeks...
Once he was getting less formula, he started eating more solids. That's just how we did it, and it worked out nicely.

My son just turned 11 months too. We offer 4 bottles a day and I always offer the full 8oz even though he rarely takes it all. But sometimes he will take 7oz randomly so I don't want to shortchange him! I would say he takes about 4oz per bottle on average. He's got a very fickle relationship with his bottle so some days he wont touch his bottles at all, which is when we try to ply him with lots of milk in his sippy all day long. Overall, our ped told us to shoot for 16oz a day since he's a milk hater (and frankly not a great eater either, but whatever). On bad days he takes 6-8oz, on great days he takes 20oz.

730am - He takes about 4-6oz, sometimes as little as 3oz. Then we offer breakfast right after - usually some kind of rice porridge and then fruit afterwards. Or some days its yogurt and fruit.

930am-1030am He's usually playing in his play room where he has access to snacks like cereal, dried blueberries, etc. He also has access to a sippy of water in case he's thirsty.

12pm - He takes about 4-6oz and then we have lunch right after. Maybe some pasta carbonara with veggies chopped in, followed by fruit.

1:30pm-3:00pm - Usually playing in his play room again so he has his snacks and water.

4:30pm - 4-6oz bottle, then dinner. Again, usually some kind of rice, veg, and meat. We often make him a "fried rice" that's rice and avocado and scrambled eggs and soft cooked veggies with a little soy sauce and sesame oil that he will eat pretty decently. Always fruit afterwards.

6pm - He sits with us while we eat dinner and has a snack like a baby biscuit or some puffs.

730pm - Bedtime bottle. Usually like 2-3 ounces. We offer for hydration since we don't go get him until 730am the next morning.

@Pumpkin Pie: My LO will be 11 months this week, this is what he eats right now:

Breakfast: 1/2 cup of oatmeal baby cereal with 2.5 to 4 oz of fruit, or egg yolk with blueberry pancake and 2.5 to 4 oz fruit.

Lunch: puree beef or chicken and yellow veggies usually made up of 3 tbsp. of beef or chicken and 4 tbsp. of veggies and 2.5 to 4 oz of fruit

Dinner: same as lunch but instead with green veggies

These are based on the feeding guidelines our pediatrician gave us.

He nurses 5 to 6 times a day. And does snack during the day sometimes and eats off our plates whenever he wants, but he is not very interested in eating table foods unless they're mainly sweet. LOL. We just hope we're giving him proper nutrition. I worry about his nutrition because although his weight is good at his 9 month check up his iron was a little low (at that time he was only having two meals and not much interest in it and mainly nursing) and has to take iron supplements. Hoping that since he eats more now that at his 12 months check his levels will be normal. Sorry for the long post.

@Pumpkin Pie: LO is a bit behind you at almost 10 mos, and she is offered 4-5 six ounce bottles of formula daily, plus nursing when she wakes up and at bedtime. LO rarely finishes more than one bottle per day, and has 4 or 5 oz of the rest. She is being offered two meals of solids daily, and will generally eat 2-3 ounces of puree or cereal at each meal plus a small handful of whatever I can hand feed her, bits of cheese, eggs, puffs, banana, etc. She doesn't have teeth yet, and hasn't figured out feeding herself, so we are a bit limited in what she eats, though she seems to like sweet and savory -- the only food she's ever refused was avocado. I feel like we are behind, but am just going with "food before 1 is just for fun" and trying to relax about it.

I think it really depends on the child but I will say overall the number of teeth doesn't have much to do with it. DD2 only has 3 teeth and when we started BLW she only had 1!

For my 11.5month in daycare days she takes 4 bottles of Breastmilk at 3.5 ounces each while at daycare. We also nurse 4-5x on top of that. She eats a small breakfast at home, I pack a lunch and she eats dinner with us. Breakfast this morning was a handful of Cheerios, half a banana oat Greek yogurt muffin and bananas. Lunch will be pulled chicken, Edemame, broccoli rice and red kidney beans. Dinner will be a variation on the same.

After she turns a year I might be decreasing my pumping and therefore her bottles at daycare. Then we'll transition out of bottles into milk in straw cups.

@gingerbebe: I have a milk-hater too!! And our ped also told us to aim for 16 oz/day, which we more or less hit.

We're down to 3 bottles a day, and I really think the solid food has helped him start sleeping better. His sleep improved SIGNIFICANTLY once we started solids at least 2x a day at 7 months. His eating schedule is roughly:

7:30AM 5.5 oz formula (takes an hour to finish, with some breaks)

8:30AM Breakfast (waffles w/peanut butter, yogurt w/fruit, bagels, bread w/cheese, etc.)

11:30AM Snack (string cheese, fruit)

12:00PM 4 - 5 oz

3:00PM Avocado

5:30PM 5 - 6oz (takes an hour to finish)

6:30PM Dinner (rice, eggs, sausage, veggies, etc.)
