First off, I do know she can't actually stand up and won't walk for 8-12 more months. She can't even hold up her own head for more than several seconds... yet.
But the last week or so, she likes to push up HARD with her legs when she's sitting on our laps. Wants us to hold her in this standing position, and will make leg motions like 'bouncing' (bend knees, put weight on legs, repeat). She hates to just sit on my lap, even while eating she'll try to push her legs out and 'stand'. I have to sit her in a way so that her feet can't find purchase, otherwise she's launching herself up and back all the time.
Anyone else's kid do this? It's like she suddenly found her legs, right around 6.5 weeks, and she wants to do *something* with them!
