we do a few of these, now who's going to e-mail this list to my DH?

Awww!
My parents do some of these. My dad gets up at 5:00am for work, and my mom gets up with him and has a latte ready when he's out of the shower. Then they read their Bible together. Every single morning. I love it.

the fight box is also called the wine box, which we incorporated into our wedding ceremony. however, the idea is to only open if you decide to divorce, not for every fight, And if we don't ever decide to divorce, then we get to open it on a milestone anniversary and write new letters! I don't think I can wait longer than 10 years to open ours because I am dying to see his letter!

@californiadreams: Aw that's so sweet! We did a wine box at our wedding but other people wrote notes for us. The plan was to open it to drink the wine and read the notes on a wedding anniversary but I've either been pregnant or breast feeding so we haven't yet. I think we're aiming for 5th anniversary.

I def am gonna try to do the towel thing for him... Hopefully I remember! But then again, it's summer right now so not like it's cold...
I also love the one about buying 2 of something you know they love & use so you can surprise them if the 1st item dies.

@Mamaof2: @californiadreams: @travelgirl1: My cousin got married this past weekend and they did the wine box! I hadn't heard of it before. I think the idea behind theirs (they wrote love letters to each other) is to open it on their 5th anniversary OR if they find they are going through a very rough time before that. I think it's such a sweet idea!

We actually do a lot of these :x. I like the idea of saying thank you instead of sorry and buying two of something they love! I should have done that with the Batman mug I broke...but to be fair, I did replace it

@IRunForFun: ya that was our idea too....I was going to edit "decide to divorce" to "going through a very rough time" but didn't feel like it
We decided on 10 years, though right after our wedding, I told myself I don't think I can wait longer than 5! now it has been 3 years and I think I want to hold out until 10.

DH does that with food! If we are sharing something, he ALWAYS gives me the last bite! I guess I just noticed it now. Maybe one of these times, I will have to insist on him taking the last bite!

I this. My husband and I do the waking up early to spend time together in the mornings. It's totally worth the lost 20 minutes of sleep. It just starts our day off right.

Wow, people actually do these things? They're very sweet but some of them made me laugh!
Edited - my DH and I aren't a very "sappy" couple, maybe something we should work on!

HA! This sounds like the beginning of a relationship. We do a few of these but not with the same intention. They are really sweet thoughtful things!

@QBbride: Ditto! Then I thought wow we must suck... we don't do any of these things... well except for the not saying sorry and thanking the other person one.

@QBbride: ditto! I loled at the idea of doing many of these. I did get up and chat with my husband when I was on mat leave, but it was only because I didn't see him too much otherwise and we have lots of fun together so I wanted some lighthearted time. but if I made him a towel heart he would either not notice or laugh his head off at me.

@tinyperson: I agree! I want fresh out of the tube, not chilling on the counter for awhile

I surprise him with Reese's cups every now and then, and buy stupid little things for him. That's about it though.
