In the new year we will have a 3.5 year old, a 2 year old and a newborn. We will only have 2 extra bedrooms which means someone has to double up.
Our 3 year old goes through sleep phases. Sometimes she's up lots, sometimes she's not so bad. Right now, she's sleeping until about 530am then usually comes into our bed and will sleep until about 730 ( as it's so dark out.) About half the time she will sleep in her room until about 6/630 and then be up for the day. She sleeps with her door open, and needs to have a hallway light on.
Our almost 2 year old never ever wakes up during the night. She sleeps soundly from 7pm-at least 830am. She sleeps door closed with a sound machine on.
For newborn sleep, for our first, she slept in our room (in a basinette) for about 5 months I think, then she moved into her own room in her crib. Our second slept in our room for.. maybe 1 or 2 nights, then she got put her her own room in her crib as she was wayy too loud to be in our room ( just a super loud breather/noise maker and I couldn't handle it being a light sleeper.) So, open to having the newborn in our room, or own room depending on the baby.
Who would you make double up? I'm almost thinking the 2 year old and newborn?
