DD turned 3 in September. She had been sleeping through the night fairly consistently starting around age 1. She is fully night potty trained and used to get up needing to use the bathroom once or twice a week, but would go back down quickly.

She had bronchitis a little over a month ago which was waking her up from coughing. Bronchitis is cleared up, but she's still waking up at night! Last night she was up three times. When she had bronchitis, my husband slept in her bed a few nights when her cough was awful (I was dealing with our 7 month old so we split the night duties.) Now when she wakes up crying, when we check on her she says something like "I'm so lonely, I want to sleep in your bed."

Help! Any ideas? She has her blankie and her favorite stuffed bear every night, but they don't seem to be helping. We don't want to cosleep as a normal practice, and I think now we've learned we probably shouldn't do it even when she's sick.
