How do you usually celebrate your birthday?
In my 20s, it was easy to get together with friends for a night on the town, wknd trip, etc. Since I've known him, DH always goes all out with gifts/flowers/dinner/etc the whole 9.
I told him for my birthday this year (31) that I'd just like a quiet/nice dinner out, just the two of us. No gifts or anything over the top. We'll likely have cake/dinner with DS and our parents at home on the wknd.

I try to get my friends and their families together for brunch! I love going out to breakfast, so getting together for brunch is one of my favorite things!

A nice dinner out is usually how we celebrate. I want to include LO for DH's b-day next month so we are going out to a nice brunch instead.

Before baby we just went to a nice dinner for both birthday's since ours a week a part. This last year I made DH's favorite meal, well he grilled his steak, a couple nights later (bday was during the week so he was gone). He sent me flowers on my bday (since he was out of town) but that was all. I wasn't happy with him.
We do a lunch/dinner with family. My Dad's is a couple weeks before DH's, so we do one lunch/dinner for all three.

When I'm not pregnant or nursing, we have a bunch of friends over for dinner and drinks (kids stay w/ the grand parents). We like to try make it a big deal

I had a birthday this weekend and my entire family went to Maggianos and ate gorged ourselves family style. 
It was nice to be celebrated since I usually plan every other family celebration in my family, including birthdays, holidays and mother's day, etc.

In my late 20s but I'm definitely on the nice dinner train. I love going out to eat, so I really enjoy picking a fun new place to go. This year my bday is on Saturday (in less than a month!) so we're going away for the weekend. I'm super excited!

I was never into big birthday productions even in my twenties. I think my first and last big party was when I was 21. I usually just like to get together w/ family and have a nice dinner, or plan trips around birthdays!

Go out to dinner or maybe go somewhere fun. This year my bday is on a Saturday, so I'm probably gonna push for a zoo trip or something.

I never liked large parties, I much prefer going to dinner. Although, if my husband brings me a gift, I won't refuse it, lol.

DH and I always do a nice dinner out.
Then i do something fun with my friends--bowling/drinks, tea at the Ritz, chocolate/wine tasting.....um, cupcakes...lunch...just something for the girls. We always rotate around and celebrate each other's birthdays.
I try to meet a college girlfriend for happy hour during the week at some point.
Basically, February is Blackbird Birthday Month.

I used to always do a big group get together, but this last year DH and I went for dinner and then meet some friends for bowling, it was fun and low key. Next years, fingers crossed I will be hugely pregnant.
