Since we sleep trained, LO does not cry for me in the morning. She lays in her crib awake "talking" until I come get her. Unfortunately I am a heavy sleeper so her talking doesn't wake me up right away! I feel bad not knowing how long she has been just laying there - this morning I am pretty sure it was for close to an hour, because DH said she was up when he got up but he thought she went back to sleep.

My mom says this is a sign she is getting good rest - she is happy & content in the morning - and that I don't need to worry about getting her right away. Is that true? Anyone else's LO do this? I am of course taking the more pessimistic angle that with sleep training we taught her not to cry for us but that's kind of silly because she still wakes up & cries for 2-3 night feedings.
