His 77-yr-old wife found him on a dating website. She got mad and slapped him. He pushed her and she broke her hip. He was arrested.

I feel sorry for the wife. Her husband is perusing dating sites and causes her to break her hip. I just think it's interesting that they only arrested him when the article says that his face was clearly red from where his wife hit him. A broken hip definitely trumps a slap on the cheek, though.

@mrsjazz: wow, what a crazy story. You're right, a broken hip is worse than a slapped cheek, but I also think that male on female physical abuse is often taken more seriously/punished more severely than female on male, which isn't right. I wonder what would have happened if the situation were reversed -- he hit her first and she caused him to break his hip? I honestly think it would be treated differently.
