I went to yoga on my lunchbreak, and felt like I was going to pee myself, even though I didn't have to go. I noticed watery cm. I plugged it into FF, and it's saying today CD 10 is ovulation. So, I guess I'm moving into the tww, and will test on the 16th to start. Positive opk on CD 9, and we BD CD 1, 6, 9, 10, and, will do it again 11 and 12.

I'm back in!
Estimated O Date: November 16
POAS/AF date: November 30
Cycle: #6
Chart: nope.
Trying new this cycle: Bathing in preseed; pineapple CORE after ovulation; handstands after BDing; possibly accupuncture; and, at the gracious suggestions of all my easily KUed friends, good old "relaxing."
What are you looking forward to this month (not TTC related): Nothing. Oh just kidding... (sort of). Umm... turkey?

I'm bleeding. This has to be my period, right? I'm never using Wondfo's again. This was too much of an emotional roller coaster. I'm 99% sure all the positives I was getting were because of the trigger shot. I just wish the wondfos would have been consistent.. If I had never gotten those negatives on Monday/Tuesday, I never would have thought I was actually pregnant.
I have an appointment Thursday morning (CD3 for me) to meet with my RE and discuss next options.

@princessandthebee: @doxielove: @CakeLady: @Sprite: @erind425: Thank you all! I need to stop focusing on the "negatives" and be grateful for everything that I have as I turn 30!
@organicmama: Ever since going off BC, I have spotted (brown discharge) for 2-3 days before AF. I mentioned it at my annual exam as I thought it may have been a progesterone issue. So she prescribed it for post-O to see what that does or if it helps. So far no spotting this cycle but no AF yet either!
@ottilie: Personally, I do OPKs when I get home from work since that's the only time I can. It's usually around 8pm, sometimes later.
@Mrs. Jump Rope: Oh, huge hugs... I hate Wondfos and bleeding and all this uncertainty...

@MrsMcD: Welcome back!!! Hoping you have something extra special to be thankful for this Thanksgiving
@Mrs. Jump Rope: Ugh sorry you are still dealing with uncertainty. Hopefully your appt with the RE will provide some reassurance/answers.
@LindsayInNY: Happy birthday! Hope you have a fabulous day and are able to pamper yourself this week

@MrsMcD: OK, tell me about this pineapple core. I heard it's supposed to help implantation, although it's probably too late for me this cycle (CD7). But how the heck do you eat it, do you just slice the pineapple into slices and eat the whole thing? I've never attempted buying a whole pineapple before, I'm always lazy and buy canned!
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I'm sorry, HUGS!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I'm so sorry you have to deal with all this uncertainty.
I think I'm going to be out for this month. I've been cramping all weekend. I'm pretty sure AF will be here very soon.

@MrsMcD: Why is it that people who already have kids or who are currently pregnant or who aren't trying at all, are the ones who tell you to "relax?" I know it comes from a good place but it's annoying, haha.
@Mrs. Jump Rope: Sorry to hear! Stupid wondfos!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Oh no... I'm so sorry about this uncertain time. I'm keeping you in my thoughts!
@NorCalWayfarer: thanks, lady!!
@Sprite: So I basically only have google knowledge about pineapple cores during TTC. I've read that pineapple contains "bromelain" which is an enzyme that breaks up proteins that inhibit embryo implantation. Google suggests cutting up an entire pineapple, including and especially the core, and dividing it into five parts to consume over the five days following ovulation. There is a boring youtube video with a lady showing you how to cut the pineapple. I would not count on canned pineapple to help you in this regard.
And really... if only getting pregnant was as easy as eating the nasty part of a pineapple....
@princessandthebee: I may stab the next person who tells me to relax.... just kidding... i do not advocate the use of violence.

@princessandthebee: @MrsMcD: being told to relax and have lots of sex at my first appt with new doc when I asked for TTC advice was among the reasons I will not be going back to see her!

@lindsayinny: Happy happy!!! 20 plus 10 is the best.
Congrats to the Nov. BFPs!! Yay.
@mrsmcd: I may bring out your pineapple trick next cycle if November isn't my month. And I agree with the whole 'Just relax' stabbing.
But I did use the TWW for my good this morning- I am semi ashamed. My husband and I were in a tiff due to a toddler meltdown at 6 am this morning (my 2 year old spilled milk on purpose on the floor and we wanted him to say sorry. Well my husband sat for 20 min of sobbing still expecting to get a sorry. Stubborn men!) I didn't agree with his choice of morning parenting style and wanted him to let it go.
So I said that any stress in the TWW is just no good at all!
And crying and being stubborn is very stressful to me- so it was stopped right away.
So I kindof won the arguement Thanks TWW.

@MrsMcD: "if only getting pregnant was as easy as eating the nasty part of a pineapple" HAHAHAHA!
Pineapple sales would be through the roof thanks to us crazy ladies on TTC forums! Ok, fine. I guess the pineapple cherry cobbler I made this weekend doesn't count, it was canned. But this gives me something new to try next month!

@MrsMcD: I did a quick google and, it appears to be the Selinium contained in,the core is what is good for implantation. You can also get the same benefits from sunflower seeds and Brazil nuts. I'm looking up whether 100% pineapple juice will do the job.

@RLCeigh: that is genius! I'm definitely gonna try to use the TWW to my advantage. I love a trump card!!

@RLCeigh: I have been using the "no stress" card for 5 months! You and I are smart girls!!
@Sprite: I suppose a pineapple martini isn't too helpful either. Shoot.
@dc yoga bee: Actuallllllllllyyyyy...... If you google "bromelain", you will see that it is an enzyme in the core of the pineapple that breaks up proteins that inhibit implantation. I'm totally not making this up, just throwing blind reliance on google. Pineapples do also contain selenium which is an antioxident that is said to help promote a healthy endometrium. Bet you thought you got me, didn't cha???
Bromelain is in the core of the pineapple and

@MrsMcD: Wow a pre-seed bathing, pineapple core binging, BD storm at your house?! Sounds like a party to me!
And about your earlier alcohol comment, I feel like it helps for all the unintentional pregnancies -- just drink a bottle of wine and relax and you'll be knocked up in no time....said every girl on Teen Mom....and no one who actually has to work for this....
bananas / 9229 posts
@NorCalWayfarer: @MrsMcD: A coworker told me to relax too... She's 24 with a 6 year old and 3/4 year old. I want to smack her cause I really doubt either of the two were planned. So "relaxing" may not be the solution!

@littlek: I'm so glad you are laughing. I really try to make myself laugh at least 10 times a day and am always hoping someone else makes me laugh as well. Usually people in general do make me laugh whether they intend to or not.
@NorCalWayfarer: That absolutely is a recipe for some kind of party, isn't it?!?! DH and I are giving this our best college try this month. We are even thinking about taking a little jaunt up the CA coast in hopes it induces some fertility goodness. If all else fails, nothing relaxes me more than a little (or a bottle) of red wine - except maybe a shot of jagermeister.

@MrsMcD: damn it! I made a pineapple upside down cake martini this weekend too (obvs I'm in the drink til it's pink camp)! I really should have looked into this pineapple core thing last week at the start of my TWW--I've been on a pineapple kick apparently!

@LindsayInNY: @MrsMcD: OMG, it is so good! And so easy to make, just cake flavored vodka + pineapple juice + a splash or two of grenadine. I had it a few weeks ago at a local restaurant, and finally got around to recreating myself at home.

@MrsMcD: I totally "relaxed" in Santa Barbara for our anniversary and then in Paris for vacation and didn't get knocked up either time! Then I go and get the stomach flu and things are not sexy or pretty or relaxed, and that's when our bodies decide it's a good month to spawn. So weird.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Sprite: Would wedding cake vodka do? Someone gave me that 1.5 years ago and I've never known what to do with it. Thank the lord vodka can stay nice in the freezer forever.
