Where does everyone buy their pregnancy tests? When I was TTC DD, I must have spent $200+ on tests...

@swurlygurl: I am only on my second cycle my tactic so far is a few dollar store tests and use coupons to get frer from CVS. I will probably order a set of wondfo opks and hpts if this month isn't our month.

Good luck to any upcoming testers!

@Littlek Well I've Been Confused This Month. This Spotting Has Still Not Turned All The Way Into AF so I Did My FRER This Morning Just To Get It Over With. (Bfn) I Am Going To Schedule The HSG my OB ordered Several Months Ago. So That Will Be Early Next Week. And I Am Going To Mention The Spotting To Her. I Think I May Need Progesterone. But Hey, I'm No Doctor!

My DH Was So Sweet To Remind Me Yesterday That We Can Trust In God's Plan For Us. And We Won't Give up. Sometimes His Encouragement Is All I Need To Hear. Ready For Another Round!

Lmbo @ The Car Nooky! Hahaha!! I Think I Might Pull That Old Trick Outta The Bag And Use It On Our Next Date Night. Lol!!!

@swurlygurl: man, I DO NOT want to know what I've spent on preg tests in the past year, it's a small fortune (def more than $200 lol)

Ok, I'm honestly scared to death that I did this but I'm using all my courage and starting the July mamas thread since it hasn't been started!! (Craziness since my EDD is mid-July), hope lots of ladies will be joining me soon!!

@runnerd: Yeah... the only reason it wasn't more is because I knew I faced the wrath of DH every time I used one. TTC for LO #2, I'm not 'allowed' to POAS until AF is 1 week late... we'll see about that... haha. I REALLY hope I get to join that board! I hadn't thought about what the EDD month was - July would be so much fun! Outdoor birthday parties!

I'm back from vacation! And honestly, feeling really nervous. My temps have been crazy, which I struck up to be because of the vacation...but this morning it was still acting crazy! I'm having post O temps (when I haven't O'd and probably wont until Thursday/Friday)...and today was my highest temp yet! I really hope my temps go back down.

    http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Littlebit

To add to the fun, my husband will be out of town Thursday/Friday/Saturday, so hopefully bding tonight and tomorrow will be enough. My CM has been total crap, and I had some red tinged CM yesterday (TMI - but probably from BDing a lot on vacay).

This cycle has me going crazy. Hopefully the introduction of preseed tonight and tomorrow will make up for my crappy lack of CM. Just feeling very frustrated at the moment. Just when I feel like I have a good understanding of my body - it starts going crazy.

@Littlebit: it sounds like you have a good plan though!!! We're POAS buddies and I'm keeping my fingers SUPER crossed for you Also, super jealous of your vaca BD'ing - that's the best lol

@Littlebit: Those high temps do seem odd, and I'm sure they are super frustrating, hoping they go down tomorrow! My chart is driving me bananas too this month! I have no freaking clue when I O'd because my temps have been so up and down, mountain looking. I just don't get it. And my fertile CM doesn't line up with my lowest temps. We are doing EOD just to cover our bases. And, ohmygosh, LOVE pre-seed. It's the best.

So, how do I get around BD while MIL and her BF are here? BD in morning? Just not care and BD as normal???? Our bedroom is opposite side of house but both on 2nd floor.

    nectarine / 2932 posts

@cmbknyc: Wohoo! POAS twins! As long as I didn't O super early Hopefully I O on time!

@princessandthebee: I haven't tried the PreSeed yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Hoping it helps!

@littlek: I do! But I don't normally start until CD13 (today) so if I did O already, I definitely missed it. I normally O CD16 or 17, so if I O'd a couple days ago, that would be CRAZY CRAZY early for me.

@littlek: BD in the morning, before you go to bed, when MIL and her BF go out for coffee or whatever.... Any chance you get!!

@littlek: I would BD as normal! You're in opposite sides of the house and who knows, it may seem like an adventure We had to BD when we had guests staying over in our tiny two bedroom apartment and got a BIG case of the giggle fits lol Long story short we still had lots of fun!

OK, so this is only my second month using OPKs and I am still getting used to them. Does the test line get darker leading up to your ovulation date? Yesterday, the test line was barely visible, but today it is much darker... still not as dark as the control line, but closer. Is that just a fluke, or does it mean ovulation is coming?

@NorCalWayfarer: "I'm pretty sure car nooky will get anyone pregnant" LOL! Maybe I need to add this to my list of new stuff to try if this month is a bust!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I'm so sorry you're in confusing limbo-land still. And I hope you've thrown away that whole batch of wondfos!

@organicmama: I'm sorry about this mornings BFN Hopefully your doctor can shed some light on the spotting + prescribe you progesterone if that will help!

@swurlygurl: I've been buying them from Amazon, a big batch of wondfos, and I'm saving the FRERs and digitals for when I have something to confirm. But uh, I think I've spent like $2k on TTC at this point, between the months and months of pre-seed, supplements, OPKs, fertility monitor (which was a waste because you can't use it on clomid), RXs, fertility acupuncture...it really adds up over time!

@runnerd: I was wondering when someone was going to start that thread! Really really hoping to join you ladies

@Littlebit: I'm sorry your temps are wacky. Travel definitely throws my temps way off, but as soon as I get home they calm right down. Your plan for the next two days sounds great, and hopefully your temps will return to normal soon!

@princessandthebee: Gah! Your chart is driving ME bonkers too. So, I know you probably don't want to spend the time on this, but I wonder if you went back and put in more of your past paper charts into FF, if it would have an easier time pinpointing your O date? I know the software relies a lot on past cycle data, so it might not have enough data to see that you normally O ~CD16? Just a thought, since I think it's still relying way too heavily on just your CM pattern for where it has your dotted CH.

@littlek: So, last month we were at my in law's during O time. I was super paranoid, but we had to get it done, ya know! We just ended up DTD late at night, in a more quiet, less bed squeaking position, and it worked out ok. We also turned on our white noise app on our phones, to help with any noises!

@ottilie: Yep, you got it. The line will get progressively darker until it is as dark as the control line.

  26. Littlebit

    nectarine / 2932 posts

@ottilie: I'm not a pro, but I'm pretty sure that darkening means you're gearing up to O.

  27. Littlebit

    nectarine / 2932 posts

@littlek: I would do it as normal. Or as quietly as you can

Ok guys. So today is only 8DPO. But it is also my DH's birthday today. I pee'd really quick this morning, so I wouldn't be tempted to POAS....but I really want to POAS! I know it's a super super long shot, but a BFP would be the best birthday present for my DH! Although technically we're not going out to celebrate until Saturday, so I still do have some time. But maybe a hold-all-afternoon-and-POAS-in-the-evening is in my future today....

@littlek: my brother and brother-in-law both had months-long stints of living with us (thankfully not at the same time). some suggestions: any time they are out of the house, obviously (can always ask them to run out & grab something from the grocery store, starbucks, etc., or if you have a cute neighborhood suggest a walk), morning, bedtime with the TV on if you have a TV in your room. also, bathroom sex (in or out of the shower - but shower running either way) is a good option! good luck!

my temp is even higher today but still BFN. I've come to the conclusion that I have no idea when I ovulated. thank goodness I finally bought wondfos - POAS is so expensive!

@Sprite: Thank you! I'm so glad I'm not the only one thinking it's crazy! So yea, I discarded two temps and tried taking away the EWCM on Day 11, with no change! I didn't realize they base their information off of past charts so much, I guess I know what I'll be doing later today! haha

Oooo, so exciting! I'm so rooting for you guys, a birthday BFP for him would be amazing! I can't wait! I wonder if you could hold off until the AM and then it would be 9 days post O? If not, keep us posted! FX!!

  31. Sprite

    kiwi / 693 posts

@princessandthebee: Yah, I read somewhere (probably on hellobee!) that FF definitely takes into account your past cycles, as it "learns" your patterns.

And for sure if I can hold off tonight I'll test in the morning. I usually start POAS'ing around 9DPO, just because in the past my LP was so short and I wanted to get in on the POAS action! BFNs probably bother me less than being antsy all day and wondering if I should have a glass of wine with dinner anyway. BUT holding off just to use FMU doesn't really work well for me, because I get up and pee at least once, sometimes twice in the middle of the night. If I don't drink anything after lunch, I think I can actually hold it longer during the day than at night.

@Sprite: I pee multiple times per night too, yay pee buddies! That's weird... anyway, then yes, POAS today! I hate seeing BFN's but if it calms you to know then do it I know we're all dying to find out!

  37. Mrs. Cookie

@dc yoga bee: Totally depends, some people see faint lines really early and some don't see their BFP til closer to when AF is due or late. I prefer seeing AF to BFN's so I wait til 12 or 14 days post O. It's tough though! There is a thread on Hellobee somewhere that has a chart of what day people saw their BFP's.

@ottilie: It gets darker as you're getting closer to the LH surge, which hopefully means O. You can have the surge without O, though, which is the one unfortunate thing about OPKs...they just predict when you might be O-ing.

Tested last night 12DPO and BFN. I think I'm ready for AF to arrive and start my 17th cycle with my 3rd IUI.
