    @Littlebit: OMG amazing! congrats!!!!

@littlek: I am on the wondfos suck train today . . . of course I did one today (8dpo) and got a weird smudge after the time frame which has to be an evap. the one I took yesterday - no evap even a day later. that inconsistency is killer.

however, they still have some purpose for me because they keep me from breaking out the FRER too early! I have to get to at least 11dpo before I can justify one of those . . .

Started the TWW yesterday - we were trying SMEP this month but timing was just not our side. I got a positive OPK on CD 16 but due to DH's crazy work schedule we only got to BD CD9, 11, 13, 15 & 16. I'm such a planner that I feel defeated for not following through, especially since any BD'ing before the 15th was pointless...SIGH

Thanks in advance for letting me vent ladies!!!! Normally DH would get the rant but I'm trying to make this TTC business a little more positive for him since the MC.

@whatsarahsaid: their sale usually ends on Saturday. It's only two bucks off, but hey I'll take it. I'm only 4DPO and already thinking of testing at 7dpo! I will definitely need another box..or two!

@princessandthebee: @littlek: Yeah, it looks like this was from my October cycle! Which is pretty cool, since that was our anniversary month! I ovulated 2 days after our anniversary

THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE! We are so so excited. I had planned on telling my DH by putting a 'big sister' shirt on our dog (our first baby) but he is out of town and won't be back until Sunday and there was no way I could wait that long. I told him on the phone, and he cried. I was sobbing.

I have blood work today and Monday to check levels..because I had a full period and have had brown spotting they just want to make sure everything is ok. So please keep me in your thoughts the next couple of days. I'm excited, but also a little nervous. Oh and I got hammered drunk while on vacation. Whoops. I think it was still too early to do anything, but I do feel a little guilty about it.

Something weird? My grandma lives 12 hours away and my mom was visiting her the end of October. My grandma gave her a baby blanket that she had knit to give to me, but my mom said that she didn't want to take it because it would probably just make me upset...my grandma insisted and said 'no, you have to give it to her. I have a good feeling' - weird, huh?! She didn't even know we were trying, but it looks like she knew

ETA: The only 'symptoms' I've had are being extremely tired this week (I thought it was because of time change/coming back from vacation in Mexico) and my boobs have felt really full. Not painful, but if I hold them/rub them they're a little tender?

@whatsarahsaid: @dc yoga bee: @cmbknyc: another thing I didn't realize my first go-round TTC was that every instruction sheet in a FR box has a coupon . . . totally enabling you if you want to test more. I think they used to be $2 off but may only be $1 off now

I already have a pretty good stockpile! I've been getting mine on soap.com, they have a 3-pack for $14.65 which I think is a decent price? (of course you only get free 2-day shipping if you buy other stuff and spend $35)

  29. bhbee

@Littlebit: all sounds promising and fingers crossed for good numbers!!

oh my this thread is so busy, I love it!

@Littlebit: CONGRATS!! so so so excited for you!! your story about telling your husband made me get teary. so sweet.

@runnerd: I'm STILL in the TBD camp. Negative FRER, no AF on CD34. I have to think that Wondfo squinter was a fluke. Ah well. I stocked up on FRERs and digis and I'm still holding out hope!!

@littlek: I LOLed - no more Wondfo preg tests for me!!

  31. Littlebit

    nectarine / 2932 posts

@loopedd: I totally forgot, yes, death to wondfo preg tests. I love the OPK's, but the pregnancy ones suck.

  32. Mrs. Cookie

    blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts

@cmbknyc: I was hoping to do SMEP too but I had a delayed O and could only keep up with EOD, so hoping that was enough! It's hard when you're not exactly sure what those three days in a row will be, and I also didn't use OPK's.

@Littlebit: Aww I teared up when you said you told him on the phone and he was crying. FX for your appts!

  33. cmbknyc

    kiwi / 630 posts

@littlek: thanks, all this positive feedback is rubbing off so I'm feeling a little more upbeat! LOL have fun!!

@Littlebit: I'm sure everything will be ok! And the story about your grandma and the baby blanket...just wow!

@bhbee: ooooo, i always just throw the instructions away! thanks! that's where I get mine too, of course I fall into the $35 trap which is NOT hard to do haha

  34. dc yoga bee

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@Littlebit: Awe!! That is,so,sweet about your DH, and Grandma!

  35. cmbknyc

    kiwi / 630 posts

@princessandthebee: YES! That's what got me! I had no idea when I would O so by the time it came around 3 days in a row was impossible due to schedules. If you did EOD you are fine! I just regret not BD'ing after the positive OPK, oh well!! I did find this link with really interesting statistics!

    http://babyandbump.momtastic.com/trying-to-conceive/72224-chances-pregnancy-day-intercourse.html

ETA: not sure where they got their stats from since there isn't a source but I'll take any news in my favor that I can get LOL

  36. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@Littlebit: woah, I am SO confused by your crazy chart, but congrats!! I can't wait to find out how far along you are! (and I agree that Wondfo HPTs suuuuck... they give you a + when you're not pregnant and apparently a - when you are)

  37. Mrs. Cookie

    blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts

@cmbknyc: I've seen something similar! It's good to know the days after don't matter as much. But for all my TTC cycles I seem to hit O-2 and O but never O-1, which is the best day it looks like! Oh well, it's always hard to know exactly when the egg is actually dropping regardless of temp and OPK's.
FX for both of us and our timings!
