I am out for this month, I got that questionable line on the FRER on Sunday night, negatives the next morning/afternoon on digitals (I thought I had tested on a frer but it turned out it was a rapid results test which is not very sensitive at all). That night (Monday) I got another light pink line within the time frame, a little bit better than the first one but barely. Tuesday morning I didn't test again, I started cramping and spotting so I took a dollar store test in the evening, it was negative and this morning my temperature started to drop.
I keep waffling about how I feel about this whole thing because I never got a super convincing line, there was always a little bit of a question. On the flip side every symptom I had was different than usual pms symptoms for me and by last night they were all gone and replaced by pms-ish feelings.
I feel kind of deflated and honestly a little silly for getting my hopes up but not as sad as I would have expected.
It is so wonderful to see so many bfps, everyone here is so kind and is going to make a wonderful mother whether it happens this month or sometime down the road. I am looking forward to seeing lots more over the next two weeks.

Any updates @Bhbee, @stratosphere and @Loopedd??? We need some good news!!!
grapefruit / 4649 posts
@chibee: Sorry to hear this month wasn't it, maybe next month we can be poas buddies again (not that I was very good at it this time) and wait (im)patiently together.
@littlek: @Smurfette: @runnerd: Thanks so much ladies, having support here makes this process so much easier to handle.
It looks like a whole bunch of people should be poas anyday now so hopefully we will have lots more good news to celebrate soon!

@Cole: ((hugs)) I'm sorry.
FX for the ladies testing soon. I'm sitting at 9DPO with zero symptoms, bfn this morning with FRER, and AF is due in 6 days, so yesterday's pink dot was faulty test, and I'm sure this probably will not be our month. Haven't felt the slightest twinge.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@littlek: Wouldn't something have to be getting started by now if I was??
grapefruit / 4649 posts
@dc yoga bee: Sorry yesterday was a faulty test, why don't you give them a call. Last month I got an immediate dark gray line the second it got wet and they sent me a coupon for a free box.
I was reading on count down to pregnancy and fertility friend that people often get false negatives through 13 dpo and still wind up with positives.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@dc yoga bee: Not always. The highest % accrurate is starting at 12 DPO, I believe.
nectarine / 2086 posts
@dc yoga bee: still super early! I feel little twinges every month and I'm never actually pregnant so who knows!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
I don't know if I should keep testing everyday at this point or wait until Saturday, which would be 12DPO. I have 3 FRER left.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@littlek: I'm probably not testing again - all signs point to out for me but AF likely won't make it official until the weekend. the only way I will test again is if I don't have any more spotting before Friday evening, when I have a ladies' night drinks event.
I was sad yesterday after getting my hopes up but now I feel ok. I'm ready to do my medicated cycle in December! I'm taking birth control for two weeks once AF shows to delay the cycle start. really looking forward to NOT having to think about any phase of TTC for a little while!

@dc yoga bee: my honest opinion is that most symptoms people attribute to being BFP aren't really related just normal TWW, since true symptoms don't really show up until your missed period. Not to say I don't symptom spot like a champ! Don't count yourself out yet!!!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@dc yoga bee: if you can make it I'd wait until Saturday. you might want to use the extra tests to confirm if you get a BFP!
pomelo / 5132 posts
@dc yoga bee: I would wait until Saturday...it's still so early yet! I didn't get my actual BFP until 15dpo (I had some squinters before that). Plus, the less BFNs I would see, the happier I'd be!
pear / 1974 posts
@Smurfette: @littlek: thanks! disappointing but sadly i'm used to it!
@Cole: yes to POAS buddies next month!!!
@dc yoga bee: 9dpo is super early, i say wait a couple more days. i've read that implantation can happen as late (although not as common) as 12dpo!
blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts
@chibee: Sorry to hear! No one should have to get used to TTC disappointment!
@Cole: I don't know how I would have done with the roller coaster you've been on, and you're still so positive.
FX for next month for both of you!!
@dc yoga bee: Wait til closer to 12 DPO to test if you can! Still holding out hope for you! I test on Saturday as well!
nectarine / 2932 posts
@dc yoga bee: I would wait to Saturday also. 9dpo is still SUPER duper early. I normally don't start testing until 10 or 11 and that's still early. You're definitely still in it, girl!

Good morning!
Bah humbug--- I'm also a negative this month. Boo!
AF decided to show on 11:46 pm on Monday (really early and woke me up)! So I counted Tuesday as CD1 but I could be one day behind..
I still have my one FRER pack I bought in the spring and still have never used. AF always arrives on time or early. Not nice!
I always wait until AF is due/late to test. I actually enjoy the anticipation and 'maybe this is the month' feeling I have, and I think testing early would muddle my wait. That's just my 2 cents.
At least I can use the Clear Blue Fertility Moniter for another month. That sucker was expensive.
I am really excited for more BFP's this month!!
honeydew / 7091 posts
@Cole: Oh no - I'm sorry. That really sucks to have all that hope
@chibee: I hate that you're used to it!!
My brown spotting from Monday is slowly turning lighter, and I think it might look a little pinkish today. Not giving me much hope!

@littlek: I wish I had some good news to share! I guess I'd go ahead and put me in the Rollover category for now... I'm CD39 and nothing. I've actually let go of hoping for the BFP this cycle and now I'm just hoping for AF to come so things can get back to normal!
@Cole: So sorry this wasn't it. I really love your positivity and hopefulness and I'm looking forward to more POAS threads with you!
kiwi / 536 posts
@RLCeigh: Sorry about that never-late AF! I think after these first two cycles of testing constantly, I'm going to try to take a page from your book and wait til AF is due/late to test. It seems smart!!

Sorry I've been a bit MIA. I'm rly trying to not obsess this tww. my days off from work make that a lot harder to accomplish though! I can't stop thinking about how my boobs feel a little extra sensitive. Ugh. I'm so tired of all these symptoms being just in my head. Only 7dpo so I have to wait a whole friggin week.

Hey all! Ive also been MIA, in the process of changing jobs and trying to get ready for the big transition. I'm having so much trouble this month with my chart....I usually have a very defined temp spike but this month, not so much and I dont know if its due to stress or possibly not ovulating at all? Any thoughts? If I add additional temps in, FF says CD 17, of course the one day we didnt BD...

nectarine / 2932 posts
@Lugrey508: I would say CD16 or CD17! It's still early. Sometimes my temps slowly rise the first couple days, and then spike later around 4dpo. Maybe yours will do something similar? Were you able to BD the days leading up to 16 or 17?
cherry / 202 posts
@Littlebit: Thanks I really hope its higher tomorrow. I was expecting to O around cd 14 based on previous months so im exhausted from all this BD'ing- CD 11, 12, 14, 15, 16
persimmon / 1388 posts
@Lugrey508: My vote goes to CD17, but it may be too early to tell.
Holy EWCM, batman!! I haven't had EWCM of this quality since...erm, February!? Plus it was streaked with blood. I must have missed my LH surge because that, coupled with my cramps, makes me think I am ovulating today! Or, maybe I'll get a +opk tonight.

@littlek: Patience is obviously not my virtue! I'm not even in the TWW yet and already over analyzing..
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
For those that did SMEP and used clearblue advanced digital monitor. How long did you BD once you reached peak. I hit peak yesterday so we BD last night and plan on BD tonight. Should we BD tomorrow, take off friday and BD on saturday?
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Lugrey508: I'm still in the process of ovulating and already second guessing things.
cherry / 202 posts
@littlek: The month I tried Smep, i was not using my monitor but I would think once you hit peak, you would start the 3 days in a row. For some reason my monitor wouldnt let me poas after cd 16 this month but I assume it shows peak for 2 days straight anyway.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Lugrey508: Okay, so thursday is a yes then. My DH is going to be soooo tired. LOL.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@littlek: I don't think there's much reason to do Saturday (unless it's just for fun!). Honestly I think just your 2 peak days are enough, but if you wanted tomorrow would be extra insurance.
cherry / 202 posts
@littlek: The part I messed up with smep is that very last day after skipping a day. I thought it was pointless after seeing a temp spike but obviously it isnt because it works for lots of ppl....and im not pregnant yet!
