@cmbknyc: Thanks friend...I'm keeping them crossed too!

@littlek: I tested last night after a 5 hour hold. Didn't test at all this morning...not sure if I am going to test tonight or not. But I will definitely test one last time tomorrow morning.

@Littlebit: yay for the fresh start! I know it depends on the person but I've always ovulated on time (or at least, by my latest usual day since I often go between CD16-20) after my chemicals. And I got pg with LO the cycle after chemical #2! hoping this new cycle is great!

I've been working long nights this week and normally would have lots of o signs be now but literaly have none. Dont think theres much chance for sunday which is when I would normally. Stupid nights, last time i was on nights it delayed o by ten days

Past two days I've thought I maaaaayyyybe feel some very slight dull cramping in my belly. Like almost not noticeable. But just enough to make me wonder if I'm crazy. Oh, how fun it is to indulge myself!

OK...so I just went to the bathroom and noticed a tiny spot of pink in my CM...I mean TINY. But my pantyliner (sorry TMI but have to wear them because of progesterone suppositories) did have some yellowish-tan CM. Could my suppositories be diluting any spotting?

Could I have implanted yesterday...11DPO? I did have some pretty strong hot pokes on my left side for most of the afternoon yesterday. But today absolutely NONE of those pains.

Sheesh...if I don't get a BFP you guys are going to think I am completely insane! LOL!

@whatsarahsaid: Could totally be late implantation! We've all said crazier things during our TWW I'm only 8dpo but am ridiculously nauseous even though I know it's pretty much impossible for it to be a symptom until there is HCG in there somewhere so I'll join the crazy club with you!

@whatsarahsaid: not crazy! that could totes be implantation spotting. i thought I had it last month but just turned our to be three days of spotting leading up to a pretty early AF.

@cmbknyc: just realized we are POAS date twins! six more days!! can I wait that long? We will seeeee!

    hello bees!

just having a lil educational thursday night over here on my couch lol. i found this youtube video a few months ago and wanted to pass it on. it explains the incredible journey dh's sperm go on to fertilize an egg. i seriously think i almost cried the first time i watched it which was at the height of my baby fever lolol.

anyways, i like watching it every now and then to remind myself of how many obstacles there are to getting preggers. and that if it isn't happening right away, that doesn't mean it won't eventually. this whole process is truly a miracle!

    Good luck :)))))

Y'all, I hadn't been to a yoga class in 10 days. As my username suggest, yoga is kind of my thing. I read conflicting information that yoga poses with twist or on your belly are no bueno (and that's many poses in a standard yoga class). So, I laid off and just did some walking. Well yes it's still early but BFN 7-10DPO and I'm claiming my life back! I went to yoga on my lunch break, and it was glorious. I had this inner sense of calm, and didn't freak out while on my belly or in twists. I even did some advanced poses. So, while I may or may not been thinking unpleasant thoughts about my body sucking, I couldn't help but admire the strength of my body in my yoga practice. TTC has brought so many emotions that I never expected I would have. But, at least I can still have my time on my mat.

@whatsarahsaid: My fingers are crossed for you! I feel like I have read it usually takes 48 hours after implantation for you to be able to get a positive so don't despair if tomorrow doesn't show a line.

@MrsMcD: How did your opk turn out? I became a twice a day convert when I forgot mine once and got a blaring positive way later in the day.

@Snowdrop: I hope the nights don't mess you up too badly this month, that must be rough!

@buttermilk: I half love that video and was half grossed out by it! Embarrassingly, I thought it was as simple as the Look Who's Talking intro made it out to be (does anyone else remember that...?) But really, it makes more sense now why everything could be perfect and yet it still doesn't work out. I wish the video just kept going, I want to know about implantation and what happens when it doesn't go perfectly!

@dc yoga bee: That was so sweet to read! I need to find a way to motivate myself to go more often, I never ever regret going to yoga and yet somehow it is tricky to get myself there.

@Cole: thank you for asking! So I rushed home and got a positive. Hooray! But DH was rushing out to meet his buddies for some drinks and dinner. I sort of pleaded with him for a quickie, but the guys were in the driveway. I'm bummed. It's cycle day 11 for me so I'm hoping the smiley sticks around until morning. I'm going to try to test again in two hours. But holding pee is hard for me at home. Plus, I'm going in the spa with my sis in about an hour. I'm not saying I pee in the pool, but......

** just so no one thinks my DH is a jerk, the guy he"s drinking with is our best friend who had a baby who was born and died on this day six years ago. So.... **

@TurtleDoves: funny. I will never admit to peeing in the pool! And yes, my best friend is married to DH's best friend and it was their second baby. She would have been six today.

@stratosphere: sucks to be a rollover. But your attitude is great! I love it!

@dc yoga bee: im very inspired by your post. sometimes we put so much pressure on our bodies, so im glad you're giving yourself a restorative break!

@Cole: totally crazy about all this intricate stuff going on down there. seems so much broader when we're just peeing on sticks and waiting for that smiley face! also yes a bit gross

@MrsMcD: hoping your smiley face sticks around til morning! FX! and so sorry about your friend's loss. saddest ever

@jmarionsmith: hahahaha i know, also the ones that get like trapped in the vag or killed by the immune system. sadtimes.com!!

@stratosphere: great luck on your next cycle! id love to try acupuncture sometime soon! seems very relaxing and i hear wonderful things about it! have you been there for things besides fertility too?

  38. stratosphere

    apricot / 329 posts

@buttermilk: Yes, I find acupuncture very relaxing and a nice time-out from a crazy work day (I go at lunch time typically and my day just flies by after). I actually originally started acupuncture to address persistent neck pain I had as a result of a whiplash injury I sustained when my very large, very athletic horse went on a bucking spree. I managed to stay on but my helmeted head got whipped so violently back and forth that I got pretty bad whiplash. After 13 weeks I still had significant pain and a limited range of motion so I decided to try acupuncture--and within 4-6 visits (over 2-3 weeks) my neck felt almost back to normal. Even the first visit made a huge difference so I was hooked!

My acupuncturist (whom I found on Yelp!) also happens to be a fertility specialist so I'm going to her to see if that will help us along on our TTC journey now.

One of our friends was discouraged after trying for baby #2 for 6 months (having gotten pregnant with LO #1 accidentally while on BCP!) and got pregnant her first cycle after starting acupuncture. Another friend had similar success (though for baby #1). So I have enough anecdotal evidence among my immediate circle to definitely want to give it a try!
