@littlek: I am always thinking this, whenever I get a hot flash!
Dr. Google is definitely friend to no one, and yet I can't break up with him . . .

@whatsarahsaid: I know you got a negative HPT, but has AF showed up yet? Sorry if I missed this, but I always still have hope until AF arrives. I'm so lame that I even still have hope after AF leaves... And google is lame. I'm always convinced I have multiple sclerosis.... Your pinching feeling could just be stress or something else.
@bhbee: I love that you described December as being magical. I'm not so sad about rolling over to that month if I have to now. Thanks!
@mrsscottish: Welcome to the boards! I do remember being a tad freaked out the first time DH and I pulled the goalie. That's an exciting freak out, though. I wish I still felt that now at 6+ months TTC!
@Cole: DH did make up for it this morning! The postive OPK stuck around this morning, but FF still calls this "O" day. She plays mind games with me sometimes. And sorry I can't help with your clotting issue. Hope its something normal!
@stratosphere: You have horses?? EEEEEE!!!! Can I be your friend in IRL?

@MrsMcD: December was my *magical* month . . . it was our 6th month, too.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@MsLipGloss: That's awesome to know. And I really am so comforted to hear from other people who required 6 months or so to get KU. You, friend, will always hold a special place in my heart for introducing me to the "brown chicken brown cow" song. Just FYI.

@doxielove: Yay, that's great news!
@Cole: Hey, I used a divacup for a few cycles in college, and now it just sits in my drawer, haha. Anyway, I guess I have clotting maybe once every other cycle but it's not very much. Sorry I don't know what causes it!

@doxielove: That's the best news! I bet your guy is pumped!!

@MrsMcD: Normally AF shows up on what would be 13DPO...which IS today. BUT...I am on progesterone suppositories which will prevent me from getting AF until I go off them. My last pill is Saturday evening so I'll probably get AF on Tuesday evening since last month it took her 3 days to arrive after I stopped with the prog.

@whatsarahsaid: Oh gees. So sorry... at least next month is a magical month!!

@MrsMcD: I was reading a blog post recently about the phrase "a thrill of hope" from O Holy Night. the post wasn't about TTC, but that is how I am looking at December
@MsLipGloss: hoping we all get some of your December magic!
cherry / 235 posts
@bhbee: Oh man...that just got me so emotional. "O Holy Night" is my favorite Christmas hymn. Now I have another reason to cry when I hear it! That's absolutely how I will be looking at December.

@MsLipGloss: I feel like we have our December POAS thread name "A magical month of BFP... aka December POAS"

and you know what - someday soon you will be listening to Christmas carols and crying because your miracle is here, or on the way. I just know it
I am a PMS emotional mess here!

@bhbee: @whatsarahsaid: That's one of my favorite christmas songs, as well! I will never listen to it the same way. I love thinking about "a thrill of hope".

You ladies are cracking me up. I've been at work all day so can't check the boards much but can everyone please watch this video of a little baby on ice? I WANT ONE SO BAD!

Good luck to all you potential turkey smugglers!
And to the rollovers: I got my BFP for my son the day after Christmas (we were in Thailand so it was still Xmas in the states). It's also supposed to be a veryVERY High time for conception rates and this is why there are so many August/ September babies!! Good luck! http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/12/26/it-s-high-time-for-conception-studies-show-peak-times-weather-for-sex.html

@buttermilk: Oh my goodness, that was too cute-- the end was the best though (hmm does that make me terrible?)
I love the "thrill of hope" thought, I have been obsessing over calendars and my chart trying to figure out the timing of next month. Because we travel over the week of Christmas dh and I celebrate together earlier in the month and go to dinner and a local Christmas event with caroling and such. It would so wonderful to have that be a bfp day but I would have to ovulate early/on time and then get a bfp by 10/11 dpo so it is a long shot but I can dream!

@buttermilk: lolz! That was adorable!!! Looks like a little marshmallow!

AF just arrived on CD41, or now CD1! I've never been so happy to get a period. So hopefully I'll have some luck on that magic December POAS Board with the rest of us rollovers

@loopedd: Yay for AF! It sucks but it's especially great when you have a long cycle. I've been there a couple of times now. Never thought I'd be anxiously awaiting AF!

@LindsayInNY: I know! It's crazy. Thanks for the support. I kinda feel like this is my first "real" cycle off BC. So hopefully things will just become clearer with each one!

@MrsMcD: Aww...aren't horses the best? I just have one, but he makes me so happy. Owning a horse was my life's dream growing up, and I finally achieved it a few years ago. That said, I don't think I'll be able to afford both childcare and horse care, but we'll cross that bridge when and if we get to it. In the meantime I am never more peaceful than on my drive home from the barn after a good riding lesson on my big guy (when he is *not* trying to buck me off, that is!).
@MrsMccarthy: Thanks for the encouragement!

Sooo, I usually end up convincing myself I'm pregnant, but this time... I was RIGHT! OHMYGOSH. BPF! Freaking out right now! Hubby is just grinning over here in bed but as it's 6 AM he refuses to get out and jump around with me.
So yea, I'm 13 DPO. And as I didn't temp past O I have no idea what my chart looks like, but I think I'll temp once tomorrow to see where I ended up. Thanks for the support everybody! So exited to share this with you all! xoxo
