@dc yoga bee: I started taking evening primrose oil this cycle... can't say for sure if it worked yet, although my CM did seem slightly more fertile this month. I still don't get as much egg white as I'd like!
@swurlygurl: totally another world, another language, welcome!

@dc yoga bee: I've taken it the past two cycles, and it definitely helps the CM, especially when combined with FertileCM (I'm on Clomid, which has as a side effect less CM, so I need all the help I can get). Mainly you want anything with Guaifenesin in it, that's the key ingredient that "thins things out". I start taking it about 5 days before expected O date, and stop once I get my temp rise.
@loopedd: Oh man, that was so mean of your doctor! Geez, I'm sorry!

@loopedd: I just saw this. I'm sorry that happened. I'd be so upset!
@sprite: I've taken allergy meds and allergy shots for close to 20yrs my allergies are so severe that I don't have a whole lot of cm to work with ever. I'm concerned about what meds I'll be able to take whenever I get pregnant as I need them to function. But that's another story for when it's an actual concern!

So, my temp rised this morning. I think my body is playing a cruel joke on me. I looked at similar charts to mine and the odds are not in my favor.. So it's a waiting game now.. AF is due thursday or friday and I'm pretty much clockwork.

@cmbknyc: Your dog is adorable!!!! Great picture of the city in the background. This thread has a lot of NYC bees.
@gingerk: Awww, too cute! Is he a little dog or big? Hard to tell from pic.

@littlek: well, my first question is... Do Wondfo
get an evap line? I took a test this morning & walked away, completely forgot about it there is a visible second line but definitely outside the 5 minute window.
Officially, I'll be 14DPO a week from today.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Mrs. Jump Rope: can you post a pic? I am awful at seeing lines, but I know other people are good at it.
kiwi / 536 posts
@Sprite: @dc yoga bee: @cmbknyc: @jmarionsmith: Thanks for the thoughts, ladies! I am pretty proud of myself for not losing it -- though for 15 seconds or so I thought I could be pregnant. Worst part was telling DH the story and he got all excited before I got to the end!
I love my doc, but she's just my GP, not OBGYN, so I'll give her a pass that she was just trying to be excited for me and didn't realize how fraught that statement was... but TTC or not, I think any woman would have a strong reaction to "this might be positive"!! Ah well.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@loopedd: Aghhh, that is rough. That's good you did not let it get to you, I would have given her a death stare.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I see a line, 7 DPO is very early. Can you POAS again? It looks promising. I'd use a FRER this time.
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
@littlek: I KNOW! my friend said the same thing. I'll get a FRER for this weekend. No sense in wasting them now!
Do you think it's an evap, though?
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I don't know. It's hard because it's not in the window of time. I really don't trust tests outside of the time limit.

Did you guys want to play another get to know you game? I was thinking we could say where we are from. You don't have to be specific if you don't want to. It feels like a lot of East Coast bees on the thread.
kiwi / 536 posts
@littlek: Haha! I was too thrown off! I mostly just thought, I have to share this on HB ASAP
cherry / 235 posts
@littlek: I LOVE all the getting to know you questions and I think "where are you from" is a great one. I'll start off...right now I live in Northern New Hampshire but we moved up here from Boston about 2 years ago. It's been a tough transition for me going from living in the city to living on a dirt road up in the mountains. I mean...the closest Target is TWO HOURS away!! That is just unacceptable. LOL!
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I would def get a FRER test and use that this weekend! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
@whatsarahsaid: I couldn't love without target! What brought you to NH?
I'm a Pittsburgh girl, born & raised. We talk about moving to DC a lot, so we will see where the next few years take us!
nectarine / 2932 posts
@littlek: I'm loving all the getting to know you questions also! I LOVE DC. Wish we could move there, but my husband will never leave where we live.
I live in Richmond, Virginia!

@LindsayInNY: I can't remember if I knew you had a pug. We have a pug that is living with my parents, her name is Bogey. They are the sweetest dogs!
persimmon / 1388 posts
@LindsayInNY: Eeek, I love your dog! I want a pug SO badly!!
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I've never personally gotten an evap on a wondfo, but I have heard of it happening. The fact that it's *only* 5 minutes outside of your testing window makes me think that it's the real deal, though! FX!
Gotta represent the Midwest - Milwaukee, WI here!
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
@LindsayInNY: SHUT UP!!! What is your dogs name?! I have always wanted a pug. I would name him Sir Squishy Face.
blogger / coconut / 8306 posts
@doxielove: I took another & got another line within three minutes. OMG!
pear / 1974 posts
@Mrs. Jump Rope: I think i see something, but if you can (and this is near impossible for us) i'd hold out for a couple more days and use a FRER!
@littlek: I love getting to know you questions also! I'm from NJ, specifically, the jersey shore. yesterday was a weird day for us all, being Sandy's 1 year anniversary - spent it with my in-laws who got flooded out and lived w/us for 7 months during their renovation. We live in the same town but luckily, I live further inland so we weren't affected!
and OMG love the pics of the pets!
