@littlek: Tested with a Wondfo and a FRER and BFN, not even a shadow. Starting to think I didn't really O this month. Waiting for a call back from the OB. Wah.

@mfa_lady: well I'm glad I'm not alone, lol. I only had it for a couple days, now it's all back to normal. I hope your wait ends soon, I remember how long those 6 weeks were for me

@Cole: We're in the same boat - O should be happening between Christmas and New Year. While we're at my in-laws. That should make for a lot of sneakiness - sneaky OPKs, sneaky BDing, sneaky progesterone. What fun

@bhbee: Thanks for the support ladies. We'll see if I stay strong and wait to test! I'm kind of getting anxious to test tonight. But I think 11 DPO is a little early.

@whatsarahsaid: I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! I do think 11DPO is certainly too early to be disappointed if you test negative.

@Littlebit: what a beautiful quote. I think in a lot of ways, that perfectly sums up a lot of our TTC journeys. I know I felt that way for a long time-we had to wait almost two years longer than I would have liked to TTC, and I remember crying so many times while we waited, and as our journey unfolded. Even now, halfway into this pregnancy, I still feel like that sometimes-like, how did I get here? Why isn't it everything magical that I thought it would be? But we're all on our own path, and each one is lonely. The best we can do is to be there for each other!

@littlek: @mrs. tictactoe: FWIW, I never temped at the same time each morning, just when I got up, before I peed, and I was still able to discern a pattern.
@whatsarahsaid: oh darlin, that sounds super suspicious. I hear you on the "not being able to ignore" part-my last two BFPs, I just knew, because I couldn't ignore my body anymore. I am hopeful for you, but also sending you strength, because it's scary. I couldn't even test for this baby because I was way too freaked out-scared of being disappointed with a BFN, but completely terrified of a BFP. Sending you love and peace and hopes for a sticky baby

Does anyone's OBGYN require that you temp? I'm not temping and have absolutely no desire to ever do that. Is it something I might be required to do down the line if I don't get pregnant on my own soon?

@MrsMcD: on the contrary, my OB thought I was a little crazy when I brought in my charts. Although she did get on board with treatment really quickly once she knew I was ovulating and very regular. Although she follows the 12-month rule in general, she said most women should be able to get pregnant within 6 if they are charting... I think most doctors will just order bloodwork rather than looking at your charts.

@septca: Thanks! I just want to be sure I am not missing a necessary step in case it gets to that point for me.
eggplant / 11408 posts
@MrsMcD: I don't think most require it, and I think @septca: is right-many don't put much stock in charts. Mine does, but that's because he specializes in NFP, so charts are a routine thing for most of his patients.

@LovelyPlum: Thanks! Are you back on the TTC threads already??
honeydew / 7295 posts
@MrsMcD: I think charting is the only way to confirm ovulation on your own. OPKs can be wrong because you can make LH when you are not ovulating. Just throwing that in because even though its a pain in the butt I do think temping can be wry valuable if you are having unmonitored cycles and while I have had some great OB/GYN most of them are not super savvy where fertility is concerned so it might be helpful for you to be on top of educating yourself. I had to ask my OB to check my AMH as well as FSH and I'm glad I did because my FSH was normal but AMH was on the low side.

@lindsayinny: Maybe all the distractions and fun of being sneaky will relax you right into getting pregnant! Something about sneaking around makes it so much fun!!!

@MrsMcD: my OB was happy to see my charts but wasn't as concerned with temping specifically (just tracking I through CM and opk)

@fotolori1: If only that worked a year ago at Christmas! Seriously, what are the odds that this happens two years in a row?!

Haha! I cant imagine trying to do all that at my inlaws house. I will be secretly giggling that week when this crosses my mind! Good luck!

I spoke with my Ob's office today and they told me to go ahead and start taking Provera to trigger my period and to do one more round of Clomid with a progesterone blood level done on CD25. I'm kind of annoyed because I asked for one this cycle at around CD23 but I was told to use OPK's. I returned the message (this is through the internet) saying that I have not had a positive OPK yet and they just got back to me today on CD31 telling me this. Kind of annoyed that I could have had the blood work already if they had listened to me in the first place. Whatever, on to the next one. Good luck to the rest of you ladies! I'll still be lurking!

I think I am today's only POAS-er and I'm afraid I have no good news. I didn't have a good feeling about this month since I never got a blazing +OPK and we were somewhat lame in our BD-ing anyway. So, HPT this morning and I have none left so that's it for now!
Seems like a good place to mention that I saw my GP last week and she thinks I'm a good (haha) candidate for PCOS, given some symptoms over the years. Good news is she looooves diagnostic testing, so I got a ton of blood drawn to check hormones (and everything else under the sun) and had a pelvic ultrasound. Going back Thursday to talk through results with her. I love that she wants to get stuff figured out, even aside from trying to get pregnant. Unsure what a potential diagnosis would mean, treatment-wise, since we're only 4 cycles in, but I love information. Onward!!

@loopedd: So sorry it doesn't appear to be working out for you this month but I'm very happy it looks like you will be getting some answers soon. Not knowing is usually much harder than definite answers, in my opinion. Hoping for good things in your future!

@loopedd: I'm so sorry about your bfn, but your gp sounds awesome!! Isn't it funny to be so excited about a doctor who likes to "over" test?
