@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I'm sorry doll.
@Butterbean so sorry little Butterbean
@Littlek had the worst nights sleep ever! Still waiting to full bleed. Had cramps bad last night. I never get cramps but I'm still seeing tiny clots and tiny bit of watery pink when I check so it seems inevitable that AF is coming.

@Lady Hibiscus: you go for it doll! You volunteered way back. You will be an excellent host.

@bushelandapeck: yes, let's! Where does that get posted? What kinds of things do we talk about on there? Dr appts? Updates? So crazy! I've been in full TTC mode that anything after was not planned for!

@butterbean: sorry you're a rollover but I'll see you on the February POAS board

@MrsMccarthy: so sorry sweetie are you planning to call your Dr about the LP concern? Do you think it has anything to so with BF?

@Adira: Feeling any better today? Are you getting lots of rest?
@MrsMccarthy: Did you have a good time in the mountains?
We had a nice time in Pueblo. Lots of walking and we had some mediocre mexican food for dinner. The mexican food in colorado is always mediocre, but the weather was divine.
@MrsHansen82: Welcome! Not obsessing is a smart idea. Although POAS has a habit of making me obsessed. LOL.
@mrskoloa: Woot Woot! Congratulations, lady!
@Snowdrop: I'm not giving up for you yet. So I will keep my fingers crossed here in Colorado, hm?

Congrats to all of the BFPs! And hugs to all of the rollovers, here's to next month being the big one for all of you!
I feel like it's also just high time I threw my hat in the ring here- even though like @HolisticMama and @MrsHansen82, I wasn't going to obsess, but look where that's gotten me!
I'm currently 6dpo, and AF is expected next Thurs or Friday at the earliest. I might test on Friday, because I have a medical procedure scheduled for Friday morning. It's diagnostic, but they usually sedate or totally knock people out during it. Does anybody have any insight on issues surrounding anesthesia during the TWW?
They'll be doing a urinalysis before the procedure, I'm sure, but I don't know if they regularly test for pregnancy at that time- should I say something?

Sore nips. Slept 11.5 hours last night (GOODNESS Gracious!). Stuffy Nose. Tummy Hurts a Bit. Yet still a BFN this morning. BUT...I'm not out yet. Nor do I feel out today.
Had a lovely day with DH last night and told him we should take advantage of nips with a different sensation. He's so silly. Everytime I want to DTD he always asks, "Are you SURE you're not ovulating?" I'm glad to prove to him that I desire him not JUST because I want to make a baby.
DH's cousin said something to me yesterday that I think was supposed to be helpful, but it didn't feel helpful: "Which HPT did you use? Dollar store can be positive with an HCG level of 25 which would likely show at 10-11 Do. I had my BFP with K at 10 DPO in the evening no less:)"
Add irritability to my list up there. I wanted to say, "Well..that's nice. So I guess you're right. I'm probably not pregnant this cycle. Thanks. I'm going to go have a beer."
I keep trying to remember that this is MY journey. I know it's super fun to compare myself to other people who have been pregnant, especially when their symptoms help me feel more positive....but this is my fertility journey. It will likely be unique.

@Ms.Pumpkin:
Welcome. Do you too POASs?
I would absolutely tell the medical staff that you might be expecting.

@HolisticMama: thanks for keeping your hopes up, tied cm hasn't even reached TP but... Well ....I don't know. I'm not emotionally intelligent enough to cope with this roller coaster!
There is no way the dollar store cheapies SHOULD be pos 10dpo, they only MIGHT be pos. I'm going to find you a link.... Stay put

Congratulations on your BFPs mamas. Sending loads of sticky baby dust to you all x

@bushelandapeck: I thought it could be at one point but the only time I've gotten these really really short cycles is after we afternoon weaned and I started taking B complex. I may skip the B this month but once AF is here I for sure plan on making an appointment with my doctor. 8DPO is not normal for me.
@sandy: thank you sweet pea.
@Snowdrop you sound like me! I wouldn't have even found my spotting if I didn't go digging. I kind of have a cm and cervix checking addiction that I should probably curb. I hope you are just having IB!
@Ms.Pumpkin: it's so hard not to obsess. Don't feel bad.
@HolisticMama: the mountains were beautiful and invigorating though I was still having a low mood. I feel very tired and grumpy and blue. I'm so sorry your friend said that. Maybe she thought she was being helpful because she didn't want you to get your hopes up but everyone's body is different an in the end until you get AF it's anyone's guess.

@Lady Hibiscus: Yes, you did volunteer first so we are happy to have you hostess! You will be great You can open the thread whenever you want, but yes the POAS dates start on Feb 1st. Go open it now if you'd like! I am a TBD'er
persimmon / 1167 posts
@Snowdrop: I don't think I'm emotionally intelligent, more like optimistically deranged.
So I wasn't totally off base for being irritated at that HPT comment? LOL.
@MrsMccarthy: It's okay to be blue, especially since often it can be tied to hormones, which we obviously can't change. -_-
You taking care of yourself today?
I discovered this old HBO show in my On Demand called "Tell Me You Love Me." It's about three couples going to the same sex therapist. One is struggling with infertility. I find it to be fascinating. And I'm slowly deep cleaning my family room and doing homework.
Do you all have Five Guys where you are? I think I am going to get a burger for lunch and go to Whole Foods later. They have sprouted nuts and seeds that I want to pick up.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@HolisticMama: We have Five Guys all over! mmm. I am going to make some bison burgers that I picked up from Whole Foods for lunch, though. Cheaper for organic and I don't have to wear pants lol.
persimmon / 1167 posts
@Snowdrop: LOL. I can't figured out how to read it. Haha.
A girlfriend of mine doesn't test until AF is late, but I just don't have the patience for that.
Another girlfriend hasn't been getting AF because she is BFing and she will wait until Day 17! EEEEP! These women have the patience of a goddess!

@Snowdrop: Oh. So I think I get it...If implanted on Thursday, 8dpo (That was the day I had all that cramping). The earliest I would probably see is Monday?
Well heck. I've been wasting pee sticks. LOL.

I started an October moms-to-be thread if you think you fall in the Oct 2014 range... I know some of us might be Sept 2014 moms depending on your cycle. Anyways, if you are an October person, see you over there?

@HolisticMama: yes, if your test picks up 20 and over, which they say is the average. All my cramping was yesterday at 9dpo so mine would be Tuesday. You find the implantation day and read down. Also try changing the baseline hcg levels. Even changing it to 4 has a big effect!
persimmon / 1167 posts
@Snowdrop: So can the base HCG be different for a lot of women and pregnancies? I need to do more research.
And it could double sometime between 48-72 hours? Goodness. So many variables!

Hey ladies. Just another update from my crazy, unexplainable, post-MC neck of the woods. I passed the last clot from my October miscarriage last Wednesday (!!!) and haven't bled since. DH and I have BD a few times between then and now, and all has been fine. This morning, when I got home from church, I had some brown spotting when I used the bathroom. We got in a quick BD sesh and now I'm bleeding red again. It's not a ton so far, but it's definitely red.
If this is a normal period, it's REALLY good news. And it means I will be POAS again in early March (I have long cycles). If it ISN'T a normal period, I don't know what to think. It could be AF, right? If you don't think it could be AF, what is going on?

@mfa_lady: I've never had a miscarriage so I'm not sure. Hopefully this is just AF.

@mfa_lady: it *could* be AF... Have you had a post mc checkup at the dr?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@HolisticMama: Thanks for asking! I actually was feeling better last night, but then this morning, my fever was back and I was feeling crappy again. But I'm feeling a little better at the moment! And Hubs has been great - taking care of Xander pretty much without my help so I can rest and relax.
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@Crystal: @littlek: Thanks, y'all! Yes, I got checked out (with ultrasound, bloodwork, etc) once while I was still bleeding a couple of weeks ago, and actually had my regular annual scheduled for the day after bleeding happened to stop (two Thursdays ago). All looked fine and normal. Crossing my fingers so, so hard that this is just AF.
pear / 1846 posts
@MrsMccarthy: it really is a terrible habit, and one I really wouldn't admit to anyone but you girls! But once you get used to checking for EWCM, it's a slippery slope! Unfortunately when you are moving onto your 7th month, you tend to think AF not IB
Any more news from you?
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@mfa_lady: if they said everything looked good, I'd assume AF. Mine was weird right after. I'm on my second cycle and not sure what to expect.
@Snowdrop: that's a really interesting chart! Thanks for sharing. Do you know you're implanting because of cramps?
@Adira: I hope you feel better soon!
