@newatthis: I wouldn't do it more than once a day to make sure the sperm has time to regenerate.
Also, you might want to BD today if you Od just to be safe.

@Keppa: happy birthday doll. I'm so sorry about AF! I totally agree. I am reason everything I can to keep from fully weaning. Are you getting a cycle at all? How long if so? I hope you get a BFP soon.
Feeling nausea and depression and awful. Very irritable. My hormones are so effed up! I don't even want to feel this way. It's less about not getting KU and more just worried about my LP and cycles than anything else.
nectarine / 2028 posts
@MrsMccarthy: I'm afraid I'm at the mercy of a short LP, too. Thinking of you-so sorry this wasn't your month. Let me know how the visit with the doc goes.
nectarine / 2028 posts
@Crystal: I forget, friend-when are you scheduled to test? I'm going to try and hold out for a week from today. By then my period should have started. I had a super late O this month, so either my period will be late, or my LP is scary-short and I'll get my period that day. Or.......the 1% chance that a bubs is on board and I don't get a period at all? I suppose there's that, too.....
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Keppa: I'm so sorry, Hun. Happy birthday.
@newatthis: I would do it today, then skip tomorrow, then again the next day. That would have you hit 0-2, 0-1, O, and 0+2, right? That is close to what SMEP recommends, I think.
@ChiCalGoBee: official test date won't be til February 5, but I think I might start texting on Jan 31.
Your timing was good this month, right? FX for an October baby for us both!
TMI- I tore a bit "down there", but DH and I need to BD tonight to fulfill SMEP. WWYD? It doesn't hurt, but it's bleeding a bit.
nectarine / 2028 posts
@Crystal: Yes..... O-1, and O+1.....we'll see. Oh boy! FX FX FX for both of us!

How many of you ladies use Wondfo strips? I tested tonight (just couldn't wait) and it was a BFN! It's probably still way to early (8dpo)...
I'm so happy for the BFPs!! (also a little jealous )

@MrsMccarthy: Was your LP longer this time than last time? Or the same shortness?? Hopefully it's just still regulating and will be back to normal for you soon (hopefully next cycle)!
Still sick, but I think my fever broke. My temps this morning seemed in the realm of possibility and around where they were before I got sick. I'm guessing being sick though probably won't help my chances of implantation (if I even had an egg and sperm meet and greet)!

@MrsMccarthy: I'm sorry honey. I was really hoping this would be your month (and everyone else's too). I hope you can get in to see your OB soon to figure this out. Please take care of yourself and take some time to relax and regenerate if you can. Hugs!

@Adira: that's sucks that sickness threw you off! I'm glad you are feeling better, though. You're not out til you're out, so good luck!

@Adira: another crappy short cycle. I just found out my insurance probably wont cover my fertility counseling too so i think we are gonna wait on all that testing and im just gonna try some vitex and maybe to wean a bit more. what a bummer this month has been for me. I am so happy about the BFPs though and i am cheering on the rest of you waiting to test!!!

I wouldn't mind a larger-all-of-us-together-thread either! I love talking to all of you, and would miss you.

@MrsMccarthy: Will your insurance cover CD3 and CD 21 testing? I just got that from my OB.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Ugh, that's so frustrating!!! It will suck if you have to wean before you can have a normal cycle. I hope that's not really the case, but who knows. And what a bummer about your insurance!!

-_- Arg. My computer ate my post.
BFN again this morning. Nips getting more sore by the day. Digestion is a bit wonky, as are sleeping patterns. After sleeping 11.5 hours on Saturday night, last night I woke up at 1:30 AM and stayed awake for 2 hours, before being able to sleep again.
This is a challenging time. CD27. Last cycle I started my period a day early. I could potentially have mere hours left of hope. A dull ache in my womb. I should start writing poetry about TTC. Is anything more emotional?
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@HolisticMama: Are sore nipples an AF symptom for you? If not, I would say thats a good sign!!!!
I am still having trouble finding a positive mantra, any help you can give me?
I am symptom spotting HORRIBLY right now. I am only a few DPO, and I am already trying to feel if my nipples are sore.
pear / 1846 posts
@HolisticMama: my nipples get more sore and then when the soreness suddenly disappears, that is one of my warning signs. So I thinkit is good as long as you are STILL sore.
honeydew / 7295 posts
@littlek: they wont unfortunately. We are gonna give it a couple more ,months then go in no matter what.

Can someone help me figure out where I should go: the less than 6 month group or the more than 6 month one?
We started trying last June, conceived in early July, had a MC at the end of August , then have been trying ever since.
persimmon / 1167 posts
@Crystal: I've never ever had sore nipples before. It's totally bizarre. BUT I didn't have sore boobs until last cycle. So I think with my dietary changes, I'm altering my hormones, but I believe in a positive way.
Do you like any of these?
http://natural-fertility-info.com/affirmations-for-fertility-changing-your-thoughts-to-help-change-your-fertility.html
I have told myself everyday that I am pregnant since CD15. LOL. I told my therapist that I have NO idea if this is good for my mental health. It has made the TWW WAY more fun, but I don't know if it will make AF crushing. Guess we'll find out, huh?
I will give myself space to feel whatever I am feeling, but if I'm struggling- I am going to look into the emotional freedom technique: http://www.emofree.com/
I also think the "I AM" affirmations are quite powerful.

Did I also mention I'm feeling a bit yeasty? Charming. :: sigh :: I have probiotics going on all over the place.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Ugh, I might be in a similar boat as @MrsMccarthy. I have some spotting today at only 8 DPO. Also, I took my temp later this morning and it was back up in the 100s, so I do still have a fever and my earlier temp probably can't be trusted. So frustrating to not know what's going on...
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@mrs. tictactoe: Over 6 months! I had a similar issue, and thats where I ended up.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@mrs. tictactoe: I'd say if you are still feeling new to the TTC I'd go with the less than 6 months. If you are starting to get frustrated with TTC, we can commiserate in the 6 + months thread.
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@HolisticMama: Thank you!!!!
The month I got my BFP I just knew I was pregnant. Not just because we had amazing timing, but I just didn't have an option NOT to be KU. I wish I could get that back.
I have a small tear "down there" and thought I was spotting yesterday. Freaked me the eff out.
