@littlek: DEFINITELY frustrated. Cried about it all morning.

@mrs. tictactoe: I'm sorry this wasn't your month love. Hugs!
@Adira: well it could also be ovulation bleeding. Your temps can't be trusted or it could be spotting when pregnant. You aren't out till you're out.
@HolisticMama: you would probably LOVE Circle and Bloom!

looks like my BFP is going to be chemical . . . we'll see what the second beta shows later this week but it doesn't look good. so I'll see some of you on the 6mon+ board for February . . . if I get to POAS in February, but I'm hoping I will.

@bhbee: Oh, friend, I am so. sorry.
I just went through that, so I am here if you need a shoulder to cry on.

@littlek: thanks lady, will see you on the new board! trying to look forward . . .

@Crystal: thank you friend. this is #4 for me so I'm pretty numb to it . . . but having the HB community is amazing and makes me feel so much better

@LindsayInNY: my lines started getting lighter today. of course you can say not to read tests that way, but I've never had FRERs be wrong in the course of my chemicals to date. I had a beta today of 28 which is not great for 13dpo (though makes sense with the lighter test) so I'm preparing for the worst. you never know of course, but holding out hope will just make me more sad. trying to start moving on.

@bhbee: how terrible! Do you know why they keep happening?! It must be heart breaking!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@Snowdrop: nope, I've done two repeat pregnancy loss test panels with two REs and nothing. I had one success (LO is two) with a higher dose of meds, so hoping to go back that route.

@mrs. tictactoe: sorry it wasn't your month...every time it's a BFN it's just so disappointing
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@bhbee: Were they making you postpone taking the meds? I really hope the higher dose works.

@HolisticMama: sorry you're feeling yucky...i always hold out hope until AF arrives...fx for you

@bhbee: I'm sorry... Was this a medicated or IUI cycle or anything? Have they looked into what's causing the chemicals, if anything?
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@LindsayInNY: yep clomid/iui #2. They made me start back on lower dose meds even though I only succeeded for LO on a higher dose. Kind of feel like I just wasted 6 months and lots of putting drugs in myself to end up here again.
I've spent over $1000 on 2 repeat loss panels but it's all unexplained. I do have pcos but it doesn't explain this. So every time you just hope it will be different. I don't know if LO was a totally 1 in a thousand miracle or if higher meds will do the trick again. Keeping hope for that.

@MrsMccarthy: I DO love Circle and Bloom. I listen to their pandora radio station all day at work.
@bhbee: BIG BIG hugs.
I feel like I'm kind of getting a fever, but maybe it's because I didn't eat soon enough and it's 12 degrees outside and about three bizillion in my office. -_-
bananas / 9229 posts
@bhbee: I feel like all I keep saying is 'I'm sorry' but I am... I went through one chemical and it was hard on me. I can't imagine multiple times though. Hopefully a higher dose will eventually do the trick...
@HolisticMama: They have a Pandora station?? I didn't know that! Is it music?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsMccarthy: I'll certainly keep my fingers crossed, but I never had spotting with my last BFP (until 7 weeks), so I'm not going to get my hopes up! Plus with how much I nurse and pump still, it wouldn't surprise me if my LP is wonky.
@bhbee: Oh no!!! I'm so so sorry!!!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@LindsayInNY: I appreciate all the good thoughts! There's nothing to say, right? Only time and sticky baby really make it better. And I do feel very very blessed to have LO no matter what happens for #2

I was also disappointed to see them split up into two boards...I know there is already a thread for those who have been trying to conceive for 6+ months, but I'm bummed to see it be split up into two different threads for the 2WW. Even though we're on month 5 this is my first time participating in the 2WW thread, so I'm not sure if that's typical to do...but it seems to me like something that should have been discussed before someone just made their own thread worded so that anyone who has been trying for 6 months or longer has to go to that one. I enjoy seeing how everyone is progressing and being able to discuss and vent with all the other bees, not just those who have been trying approximately the same length of time as me.
I looked at the 6+ months thread and I kind of hate the feeling that is apparently there of 'bringing down' the TWW threads when you've been trying for awhile. Supporting each other through those times and sharing our excitements and frustrations is pretty much the point of this thread, from what I had gathered.
Edited to clarify: If those who have been trying for longer want their own thread because it's just hard to read about those getting pregnant more easily, I'm sympathetic and understand that. But I disagree with the idea of telling people which thread they HAVE to be in according to how long they've been TTC - I don't want to move to a different thread next month!
bananas / 9229 posts
@mrs. tictactoe: I like @littlek: advice - go to whichever thread you feel most comfortable in. I was still doing fine at month 6 but at this point I need the 6+ thread.
bananas / 9229 posts
@wonderstruck: You can be in whichever thread you feel best in!! For me, it wasn't a matter of people "bring down" the thread or me. Your edited part was more on point though. After a certain time, it becomes harder to see people getting pregnant the first cycle or those complaining about not being pregnant by cycle #3. I'm not trying to downplay their feelings or concerns, not in the least, but it becomes harder to relate, if that makes sense?
honeydew / 7295 posts
@bhbee: I am so so terribly sorry honey! I am sending you prayers for a healthy pregnancy this next cycle.
@HolisticMama: wow I didn't even know they were on pandora! Awesome!
I really think there should only be a general POAS thread AND a 6 months plus. I don't think the general thread should specify a time. That way there is a safe place for those trying longer and it's understood that anything goes on the POAS thread if you are sensitive to people who are new to the process getting frustrated. People under 6 months don't need our own thread. That's my feeling.
I am feeling a bit better after meditating and spending time with my son. I think hormones and just fears took over. Now I'm feeling a bit more like I can Wing it for a bit longer. Worrying wont change the outcome, at least not for the better.
persimmon / 1167 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Agreed. Think Mr.Bee can change the 6 month of less POAS thread to the general thread?
persimmon / 1167 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Also, I'm glad you are feeling better!
I have been busy with students today! And still have homework to today.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@wonderstruck: Agree 100%. I feel I've bonded with some bees but theyre on 6months plus, so I dont want to crash their space so to speak. It's been fun relating to ladies at all different stages, but whatevs. It'll be hard to keep up with seperate threads and convos, but I guess thats the point. We could even sub catorgorize further to people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, or ttc 1, 2, beyond but I think there was somethinf special about us all being on the ttc rollercoaster together. But, overall people should feel comfortable wherever they want to post.
pomegranate / 3045 posts
Yeah, I guess I had thought the POAS thread was always, well, just a general POAS/TWW thread for everyone to commiserate/symptom spot/etc, and there was the separate, more general, 6 months + thread?

@MrsMcCarthy: Glad you're feeling a bit better today about everything! How old is your son? Mine will be 18mo in a couple of weeks (crazy!!!). I'm not sure if I'm feeling better about the whole thing, or just kind of numb...but either way, oh well for now and onto February!
pomegranate / 3791 posts
@LindsayInNY: That does make sense, I would just still like to support those who have been trying longer and see how things are going for them, but I don't want to feel like I'm intruding on your guys' space or anything.
@MrsMccarthy: I agree.
