@howeverbriefly: EXCELLENT news! Congratulations!
@HolisticMomma: Random, but I remember a couple of weeks ago you mentioned you were looking for a non-aluminum deodorant? On the coconut oil thread, a couple of Bees mentioned that they mix CO + cornstarch and use it as deodorant. That type of application seemed kind of messy to me, but I recently came across a CO + cornstarch stick deodorant at the natural food store near me. I think the brand is called "Nourish Organic." I have no idea how it will hold up against our sweaty summers, but so far I REALLY like it! Just thought I'd pass along the recommendation.

Thank you everyone! DH dropped the phone when I called him at work (in a panic sort of reaction not an I'm so happy kind, whoops!) to tell him. I guess even though this is three years in the works it's only now finally hit him, poor guy.

@Adira: Boo. That is a short LP. Do short LPs usually fix themselves over time? Or do you need to tweak things nutritionally?
@Cole: I totally get your perspective. That is one of the reasons that I have started smaller threads within the TTC forum.
@however briefly: WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PINK LINE!! I know that the last few cycles have been challenging for you and I've been thinking about you. SO...I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! Woohoo!!
@Mrs.Panda: We're really coming to the end of the month, aren't we? My goodness. How did that happen?
@littlek: Do you think it would help if we did "Get to know you threads" in the actual TTC forum and not in a thread? I'm afraid they would just moved to playspace, which isn't necessarily a bad idea, but for the last few days- I have just been hanging around here, because I really want to get to know you ladies.
@dc yoga bee: I'm going to miss you. Where can I find you? Playspace?
@septca: OH! Thank you SO Much for thinking about me! How does it do with odor control? That's my big issue.

CD28. I decided to stop testing last night, because I felt like I was wasting pee sticks. LOL.
What will be, will be.
Easier said then done?
My microscope came today so I had fun looking for salvia ferning patterns, in which I saw none. But I also enjoyed looking at bamboo leaves, my skin, and an orange.
I think I might look up some "red tent" rituals this week. They sound fun and nurturing.

I might pick up some red raspberry leaf tea if AF arrives this week.

@Cole: I'm thinking you might've Oed at CD10 - do you normally O that early? If so, you're only 9DPO which is really early to test...

Remember when I told you gals that my DH decided to quit his job without a plan?! Oh my! Well- his last day is Friday, but he just found out that he got a job at USAA, which Fortune just ranked as the 17th best employer to work for in the nation!
Woohoo!
I'm so excited for him!
AND they have on-site childcare!

@HolisticMama: Honestly, I'm not sure. I never had a short LP before. It was always at least 10-11 days pre-baby. I'm wondering if nursing is messing it up.

@HolisticMama: Awesome! We have a big USAA not far from our house. What will your hubby be doing? Mine is trying to find another job and has entertained the idea of going there.

@Adira: Boooo for AF.
@bhbee: I can't imagine the emotional roller coaster you have been through. I'm so sorry.
@however briefly@ eeeekkkkkk!!!! Congratulations!!!
@holisticmama: have you tested yet? I broke down and tested today... 13 dpo I think and BFN.
I have just about decided to give up. Not sure about all of you, but I am not married yet. We are engaged and getting married this summer, but we own a house together, we have been together for 4 years and because of my age, we started trying a year ago with no luck. I have been to an RE, had numerous tests, been on Clomid, had a lap, etc. Everything is in line for me getting pregnant except one thing. I have poor cm. I have been on Mucinex during ovulation, timed everything perfectly and tried clomid. This month for sure I am going to use preseed, but I am sooooooo frustrated with the fact that even though my RE recommends an IUI, he won't do one until we are married. So I guess I will be waiting until July after we get married even though I will be 40 years old. We knew when I was 38 it would be hard so we started trying and now I am 39 and will be 40 in may. I am just venting. I wish they would just do the IUI. I Figure If I am willing to pay for it, shouldn't it be my choice as to when?? Anyway, just venting.
I am confused as to why my temps keep climbing up and I am still getting a bfn. I think it should be positive if it's gonna be by 13 or 14 dpo. Right? Has anyone every gotten a positive after a negative this late? Based on my temps I ovulated on day 13 which puts me at 14 dpo but I was cramping so much on day 14 I think I actually ovulated then. I know I ovulated cause my progesterone was over 40. Ugh!!!

@fotolori1: I am shocked he wont do it until you are married... can you go to a different doctor? That just doesn't seem right...
apricot / 386 posts
I know! Me too! I have checked with 2 here in Knoxville TN and both won't do it unless we are married. I don't get it.

@fotolori1: I've been getting BFNs for days now. I had such beautiful symptoms this month and I very consistently have 28 day cycles.
There definitely have been people on other boards that have seen their BFP quite awhile after AF was due. (I googled this morning. LOL)

@ holisticmama: not sure how i missed your posts abiut bfn. I have worked about 90 hours in the last 6 days so i am not always able to keep up. So are you actually late now?? I always have 28 or 29 day cycles also.
How is your temp?
apricot / 386 posts
I'm sure I could if I asked, but they will probably tell me just to wait and see if AF shows up. I am not really late yet, I just thought surely it would show by now. The only thing weird is my temp!

@however briefly: Congratulations!!!!! Can you send some of your 3rd IUI luck over to me.......currently in TWW from IUI #3
honeydew / 7295 posts
@fotolori1: that's horrendous about the married thing. TN must be a conservative state. That's just wrong.
