@fotolori1: aw well don't get up hope yet. And if it doesn't work at least July isn't too far away keep your head up.

@mrsmccarthy: I know! Ridiculous!
@honeygold89: Thank you.... it is just hard. I have 2 boys, but my fiance doesn't have children of his own and it is so hard to hold out hope after a year. I just hope that at least we can get pregnant in July. I hate getting old!

@FaithFertility: Crossing my fingers tightly for this to be your month as well!

@fotolori1: Wow, that's so frustrating about your doctor!!!! And I can't believe you got a BFN - your temps look AMAZING! Maybe you implanted late and a BFP is still in your future??? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

@fotolori1: I'm in TN too, so that really upsets me and makes me feel shameful for my state that multiple doctors turned you down for IUI. I didn't know you could be refused based on marital status!!!

@HolisticMama: sounds like a great job!! Congrats to you and your DH!

@runnerd: it is very frustrating! What if I were single and wanted a child before I was too old. Who are they to tell me they won't do a procedure if I am willing to pay the money for it. I am going to research and see if there is anywhere else in nearby cities that will do it. At least 2 doctors here in Knoxville won't do it unless you are married. They will do everything else, just no procedures.

@fotolori1: I can't believe they won't give you IUI because you aren't married. That's discrimination.

@runnerd: In TN too, and yeah, I wasn't shocked when she said that's where she is. Sometimes I really hate to admit I'm from here! That's just ridiculous!

Mrs. Panda: finally, a rollover! Thank god- thought I would be waiting for AF until next year!!!!!
Fotolori1: that is ridiculous. especially, since you're paying for it. I wonder if it's Hippocratic oath- related or it's a law. When I was a pharm tech in college- I knew a pharmacist that refused to dispense plan B based on her religious beliefs. This is when it was not over the counter. Crazy how much red tape can be involved with women and their OWN bodies.

@torchwood and @littlek: it is ridiculous that the drs who have the ability to help won't simply because of their own personal beliefs. He has helped me with clomid, labs, a lap, post coital exams, an HSG etc, but now that we think we know what we have to do, he wont. I am getting busy looking tomorrow, I think there may be a dr in Chattanooga who will.do it. I am going to see if we can have one more month of clomid and try preseed this time and see if anything happens and if not, I will either find another dr or wait til July.
@Cole: congratulations!!!!
Oh... I almost forgot, it has gotten so routine and expected, but I got a BFN today when I tested. My temps are still up, but I can feel AF coming. That b@#ch!

So, I was going to go in officially on the Feb board, but I was hoping that you ladies might be able to help me out here.
I know that you're not supposed to look at the dollar store tests after 10 minutes, because the results aren't valid. I can follow instructions, usually I can!
But I went back and looked at it after 15 minutes, and saw a faint, faint line (I'll try to post a pic if I can).
A frer taken with SMU was a huge squinter, I think I saw something there, but the Mr couldn't even see it (although he wasn't wearing his glasses at the time!).
I'm 10 dpo and wouldn't ordinarily test, but I've got a medical procedure tomorrow morning (a cystoscopy) that requires sedation/anesthesia, and I wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant. But this makes me feel a little like a crazy person.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Cole: Congratulations!!!!
@Ms.Pumpkin: I definitely see a line, but I say test again tomorrow!!
