@Ms.Pumpkin: Looks positive to me and 15 mins isn't so far out of the window that Id be worried about an evap. I think you're pregnant! I'd call the doc and let them know that you got a positive and will test again tomorrow. Use an FRER!

I'm 12 DPO and POAS the last two days - BFN. I don't think I'm KU anyway but thought I would test before Jan is over. No signs (yet) of AF who is supposed to arrive tomorrow, although my last two cycles were weird.

@Ms.Pumpkin: I would test again, but I'm not as familiar with what those test lines should look like. Hopefully it is

I'm still stuck between a BFN and lack of AF.
-_-
I'm not really a rollover. I guess I will probably be a TBD. TBD seems like a nicer phrase than "in limbo." To be determined indicates that something will eventually happen and the journey will continue.

Thank you everyone! I don't quite believe it yet, so I'm still going to make an emergency FRER run tonight.
I also just spoke with the doctor's office for the procedure I'm having done tomorrow, and it shouldn't be a danger if in fact I am. I'll just mention it to them, and they can do some backup testing just to make sure. This sure is turning out to be an unexpected week of peeing on things!

@Ms.Pumpkin: I say it's positive that's exactly what mines looked liked on a dollar store test and I'm due any day now, so I say try another FRER and test later or in the morning. Congrats!

@MrsMccarthy: I'm only CD30, but I have never seen that number before. LOL. The RE says that they actually have people come in for testing on CD30, but she is giving me a little more time. She also made it sound that they are seeing more weird cycles because of the two new super moons in one cycle.
http://earthsky.org/tonight/two-supermoons-in-just-one-month-january-1-and-30-2014
And she was the one who brought it up!
"We won’t have a single calendar month with two supermoons again until January 2018."

@HolisticMama: oh honey. i hope you get some answers soon. do not fret. everyone has a weird cycle now and then.
persimmon / 1167 posts
@MrsMccarthy: I'm not feeling too freaked out, really. I'm actually kind of hopeful. She mentioned that there are meds to start AF. However, I would try parsley tea before going on a Med.
apricot / 386 posts
@holisticmama: I'm in the same boat. No AF yet, but she was just due today. I didn't test today because I tested yesterday and it was a bfn, and I hate seeing that! I am just going to wait at this point.
On a happy note, I have an appointment next Thursday with an RE in Chattanooga who WILL do an IUI for an unmarried couple!!! I am excited, but I had almost talked myself into just waiting until July so I could get into shape for my beach wedding in june. Now I'm torn.... go and get the iui soon or wait and work out and have it here in July?? Any thoughts?
apricot / 435 posts
@fotolori1: So glad to hear you found someone who would treat you! I cannot believe that there were doctors who were refusing to treat you!
I'm also getting married in a few months, so I hear you on the whole pregnancy vs. wedding issue! For us, it came down to kind of a throw of the dice- we weren't going through treatments, but I kind of figured that if it happened, it was meant to be, an so I'd just be walking down the aisle a little bigger than I had hoped... but if the tradeoff was a healthy kid, that was one I was willing to make!
But it all comes down to what is best for you and your partner, and the timing that will work for you! If you really want to go for it, then go for it! Congrats on the wedding and good luck!

@Ms.Pumpkin: I can't wait to near about your results tomorrow, but that looks good to me!
apricot / 386 posts
@littlek: Thank you!!!
@Ms.pumpkin: I know what you mean! We have been the same way, but when we tried timing and opks with no luck, I started seeing the RE. I had lots of things that he resolved, he just wouldn't do the IUI. I am in good health but with my age, I don't want to push my luck. Do you mind me asking how old you are? I am almost 40.... yuck!
Thank you and congrats as well on your wedding too!!! Did you ever go out and get another test???? The anticipation is killing me!
apricot / 435 posts
@fotolori1: Not at all! I'm 36, and to be honest, my age had a lot to do with just saying heck with it and moving up our timeline. We were going to start trying seriously in April after the wedding anyway, so what was 3 months?
I would have loved to have started this whole journey earlier, but I didn't meet my fiance until I was 33, so you do what you can!
I picked up a FRER tonight, and I'll test again with FMU, fingers crossed! We're both flipping out a little bit this evening, lol!
apricot / 386 posts
I met my fiance when I was 35 and we have been together for 4 years, engaged for 2. I will be 40 in May and that was my deadline. Haha. I wish we had met earlier in life as well, but it wasn't in the plans.
I'm really happy for you that you have a bfp, but I'm sure you are flipping out!! I sure would be!

@Ms.Pumpkin: I can't wait to see what the morning holds for you!! My fingers are crossed for you!! So exciting!!

Wow, thanks ladies!
Well, this one looks pretty positive to me! And I tested on BOTH of them, like an idiot, just to make double sure! It's kind of like peeing directly on dollar bills.
So off I am to the doctor's for my procedure, and there they'll be testing me once again, so we'll be triple confirming!
Thanks to everyone for the support, this is such a lovely place!
