@hilsy85: hmmm yea...well hopefully she shows soon then! I Just started taking it a week ago but stopped yesterday bc I was nervous it would delay O by a lot for me. We'll see I guess.

@NovBaby1112: I had been reading about b complex to help lengthen the luteal phase, so maybe that's what's going on?
apricot / 315 posts
@hilsy85: Hope you get some answers soon. Maybe it did lengthen your LP?
Did the b complex seem to help with the spotting you were having? Fewer days, less heavy spotting etc? I'm taking a b complex this cycle as well to curb 5 days of spotting with a 10 day luteal that popped up in these last 2 cycles. Did you notice any other differences this cycle?

@Chaosmaven: @NovBaby1112: AF started tonight! So on to the next cycle.
@Chaosmaven: So since April, when I weaned LO, til I got my BFP (that I m/c'd). I had an 11-12 day lp, but I would start spotting at like 9 dpo or so. This cycle, which is the first I took B complex, I had a 14 day lp, and had a teeny bit of spotting on 12dpo and 13dpo. So I guess I still spotted before AF (really small amount, only in the morning), but it was later in my lp. not sure if i Will continue to take it next cycle....

Hi ladies, I am late but just joined the boards. Been a terribly confusing TWW...
Cycle Day: 27
TTC Cycle #: 3 - first two were NTNP after going off bcp after 15 years
Ovulation and POAS dates: not sure, had two heavy batches of ewcm this cycle and don't temp or opk yet. Thinking O on Jan. 4, POAS on Jan. 16ish
Baby #: 1
Your plan this month: Start making a plan.
Chart link: just started FF, not worth sharing yet.
Just would like to say that I have been lurking here for a while, but this thread spurred me to join. You are all so supportive and it is nice to know I can come here with questions, or to just obsess. Thanks for letting me join in!

@VegasBabyVegas: Welcome! I was a HB lurker for about a year before posting, and I am so glad I finally joined in! Lots of support and understanding.
@Shellio, @JennyG, @Navy_Mommy: sorry to hear and the best of luck for February!

@hilsy85: Bummer, sorry about AF but at least she wasn't too late...man, I really thought this month was promising for you based on your dip I cant decide if I will temp after I O or not, seems like I would go crazy analyzing! lots of luck this cycle mama!!
@VegasBabyVegas: welcome and goodluck!
So I've been using these wondfo opks and still haven't gotten a positive yet, and I'm CD10. I usually O CD10-CD12 and DH and I have been BDing the last 3 days, so I am hoping it happens soon haha. I'm tired! Maybe my chemical last month is pushing my O date out a bit? We'll see....
squash / 13764 posts
@NovBaby1112: yeah...my chart ended up having two major dips, which is actually I guess not unusual for me (similar to my BFP chart with LO, which also got my hopes up!). I think I am going to stop temping the last week of the TWW from now on, because that's when I tend to go really crazy!! I hope you O soon, I am impressed with your dedication thus far--TTC was so much easier when we were younger and less tired !
apricot / 261 posts
I think I O'd on either the 2nd or 3rd... which is a couple days earlier than I thought I would based on my recent cycles. I'm planning to POAS on the 16th now.

Dang it, I was so lost in thought when using the bathroom this morning that I completely forgot to use my FMU for the clear blue monitor! I'm hopefully only a day or two away from ovulation, but I'm really not sure because I have almost-positive-but-not-yet OPKs, almost "watery" cm but no EWCM, and the nov. miscarriage might be affecting my cycle. So I really wanted the clear blue information, dang it! I even left the clear blue monitor on the top of the toilet seat

@DesertDreams88: Thank you! I felt like maybe I should have a better handle on things before I started posting, but then realized that this is a complicated process with lots of questions, and it's probably better to have some people to chat with about it as I learn. I saw earlier in the thread you are going to start temping next cycle? I am thinking I need to as well if this isn't my month, since apparently my troll uterus is giving me ewcm 5 times a month...

I know I'm not technically out until AF...but, I had a BFN this morning and now I'm having my typical crampy, yucky day before AF...
grapefruit / 4361 posts
@vegasbabyvegas: I actually started temping this cycle, I've read a lot of times that it's the only "sure way" to determine O and my OPKs haven't given me very clear signals in the past. temping is not too hard, anyway... I wake up the same time every day for work, I fall back asleep easily on the weekend, I have no baby or kid disturbing my sleep causing irregular temps, etc. Plus, it's free! Haha. "Troll uterus" hilarious phrase, I hear you on the confusing EWCM, so frustrating! That was a particular problem for me in August in November and led me to think I had ovulated when I hadn't
Ladies, I have my annual exam scheduled for what hopefully will be 11 DPO. Would the Pap smear possibly affect our chances??? Re- scheduling would be a pain but I'd do it if need be! I also plan to test that morning, anyway.
coffee bean / 37 posts
@DesertDreams88: I had my annual exam in November and told the do there was a teeny chance I could be pregnant, she just said oh great and offered to do a test for me after my exam. I would tell the doc befor she does anything, bit don't think you need to reschedule.
10dpo today and feeling discouraged. My temp is still way up. I thought about testing this am, but never had a chance this week to pick up tests (we're on vacation). I figured waiting till 11dpo made it more likely is see a bfp if I'm going to see one, but it's snowing now and I think we're sitting tight. Thinking i'd rather just wait til Tuesday instead of ramming the news down my throat with a bfn before my period. Boo.

@DesertDreams88: it won't affect anything just tell your dr that there could be a chance

@Willow: goodluck!!
@DesertDreams88: yea I think you should be fine to go...
@FairSeas: goodluck! I wouldn't want to go out in the snow either, maybe wait until tomorrow?
Finally a positive opk on the wondfo this morning, confirmed by the one smiley opk I had left! going to try and BD today and maybe tomorrow

@hilsy85: lol I know...it seems like so much work now. I have never been happier to see that positive opk- i am tired!

I know I'm later to the party but can I join? Technically I would be 14dpo on February 1 but I know I'll be testing earlier!
Cycle Day: 8, I think
TTC Cycle #: 1
Ovulation and POAS dates: Ovulation around January 17-18, POAS around January 31-February 1
Baby #: 2
Your plan this month: Trying to relax since it's our first month

Hi all!
I haven't posted in a few cycles but I want to share my bfp! After 11 months, accupuncture, Chinese herbs, and starting the infertility process with my obgyn, it has finally happened!! The process was so discouraging so I wanted to share my story to let you know it can happen when you least expect.
Baby dust to all!

@Runnergirl: Congratulations! You must be so excited
I'm still impatiently waiting to O...OPKs have stayed about the same (maybe a tiny bit darker) but I do think my CM is getting more fertile. It's so hard to tell tho, especially with frequent BD. I've read up on telling the difference between EWCM and hubby's (ahem) leftovers, but I'm still finding it hard to distinguish between the two. I'm getting tired of taking OPKs and I wish I could just get this show on the road. Have I mentioned I'm an impatient person?
kiwi / 611 posts
@hilsy85: No. It's only our first cycle and I'm trying to be relaxed (ha!) and I think temping would just give me one more thing to obsess over. I'm hoping to give it a few months before I temp.

@Runnergirl: congrats! I am interested in your acupuncture experience. How often did you do it, and did you continue through your entire cycle? I'm thinking of looking into it for myself, but the closest clinic that does it is 45 min away so it would mean a bit of driving on my days off. Did you think it helped a lot?

@2farmmoms: You didn't ask me, but I'm doing acupuncture, so thought that I would reply..
I started acupuncture just before Thanksgiving and although I don't have my BFP yet (will be testing tomorrow!), I can tell that it's helping. Before I started, my 21DPO progesterone was at 11 and the two cycles since I've started it's been between 23-25, which is what they like to see to sustain a pregnancy.
I am going weekly as it's super close to my work. I'll keep at it for a few more months as she said that it can take at least 3 to see results. She also specializes in fertility acupuncture, which is what you want as she knows which spots to avoid at certain times of the cycle. She also has me listen to the Bloom fertility CD, which is a different one for each day of my cycle.
If anything, it's relaxing

@NorthStar: thank you! Of course I'm interested in hearing anyone's experiences. And it's great to hear that you've seen a measurable difference. I totally believe in it, but my scientific brain still likes seeing numbers. I'm going to make some phone calls tomorrow and see what I find. Did your insurance cover any of it?
coffee bean / 39 posts
@2farmmoms: it was a bit of a drive for me, 60 minutes. So I just went once a cycle before O and the few cycles I did it I had normal cycle lengths and confirmed O. My naturalist said it especially is for women with lots of stress. I really liked it!

Inspite of my pessimism...
I finally got out of the house to get a test and got the guts to take it. It took a few minutes to show up and it's less of a squinted in person (this was also from 6:30pm). Hopeful this will stick around. Thanks, ladies. Glad I was part of this board for this time.

Is anyone else drinking green tea? Crazy difference I've noticed in my CM! I used to barely have any EWCM but I've noticed a lot this cycle.
