We have a A+A Security Blanket for DS as his lovey... he's been growing more attached to it in recent weeks. We keep one at home and one in the car or at my mom's house (who watches him)... I've been scouring brick and mortar/online for the same print (Blue, cars)... and cannot find it anywhere.
Do you think if I bought it in a different print, LO will notice? He is 13.5 mths. He's just mostly obsessed with the fabric!

How old is he?
DS's lovey was a little tiger we got from the zoo, and while we were visiting my parents the dogs got to it (whoops!). I went back to the zoo to buy the exact same one, but they didn't carry it anymore!!! Luckily he didn't notice, so the new tiger was quickly assimilated as his lovey. He was about 19 months old when this happened.

I think you'll be okay with a different print! Xander has 8 A&A swaddle blankets, all different prints, and he doesn't seem to notice or care! He loves them all!

My DS treats all of his A+A blankies as his lovey, and he doesn't really care about the pattern. He has one favorite pattern, but he's not really picky about it.
@mrsjyw: I feel like I may have blue cars at home. Do you want me to check? He is not into it at all.

We have the same security blankets and started with the cars. I had a hard time finding more when he began to grow attached. I ended up buying others with the stars on it but with the same blue silky material and he hasn't noticed. I think we have a total of 8 just in case we lose them!

I give DS (15 months) about 5 of them every night (he is on a twin floor bed, easy to lose the blankies) and they are all different patterns, he doesn't care/notice.

@mrsjyw: I posted the pattern I have on your wall.. You are welcome to have them because my DS really didn't get attached to them and opts to carry around five full size blankets at a time.
