My DH really likes the name Adalia, pronounced ah-DAL-ee-uh. It is of German origin and means "noble." It has special significance as a family name to DH. He also pointed out that it's a genus of lady bugs, which I agree is kind of a cute connection. If we used it, we wouldn't use a nickname, because I'm just not a nn person.

I'm concerned that people will confuse her name with Dahlia (like the flower). And it's an extremely unusual name, like something you'd see in Game of Thrones. What do you think?
