Has anyone used the advanced clear blue ovulation predictor kit?

If so, have you ever had difficulty with getting the blinking smiley face for several days in a row prior to getting the solid smiley face?

Last cycle I had the blinking smiley for over 3 or 4 days. I used these for the past 2 cycles and didn't switch out the "reader" but brought another box for the actual pee sticks..so I am not sure if this is why.
