Soooo.. Am at airport back from baby-making trip in Cancun and none other than AF shows up!!! =( This is 13 days after stopping BC. zero chance of Cancun baby ? Sigh

I have heard many people having off periods once stopping BC. I think for best results, try to let your body regulate itself and see what a regular period is like off BC, then start TTC. You will have a better idea of what your periods are like on their own.

AF visited 2 days after stopping BC with me. She wasn't due for another 3-4 weeks. Ugh.

Hugs. Did you stop mid pack? I stopped at the end of my last pack and then got my period 27 days later. I've heard that stopping mid pack can cause a withdrawal bleed.

My first 3 AF after stopping BC were 2 weeks apart. It was beyond frustrating but I did become more or less regular after that.

hey...thanks ladies. no, i finished my pack before stopping BC. It's weird cause AF is totally gone now. I think it's definitely cause my body has no idea what's going on with itself after being on the pill for soooo long. sigh. I bet mine will be 2 weeks apart too, since it would normally be due the last week in November. AGH! i know that trying for 13 days is too early to even start stressing so I'm trying my best not to!! I saw a Lego commercial and starting tearing up seeing the babies. Stop the madness!!!

@lilybugg78: I stopped active bc pills on 10/17... had period from 10/18 to 10/22. I am still waiting :(. I hate this coming off BC irregularity period. SUCH A TEASE!

It really is, MrsJYW! In a panic today I bought one of those 20 day ovulation predictor tests!!
