Car seat friendly or not? We got a great Columbia fleece at the outlet for $20, a great down non-car seat coat at Costco for $20, and I regularly see Lands End coats on sale. They're great, but it don't know your LO's size.

Lands End! I recommend them all the time. THey have a 3 in 1 coat that you can use the fleece for the car seat, then put on the outer layer.

@Weagle: Do you mind posting examples of what you mean by car seat friendly or not? Do you mean the puffy jackets for non car seat?

I'm looking for something thicker than a fleece. It's -2 here this morning!
I was thinking this: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/75993?feat=76112-ppxs&dds=y

@sunny: yep! The first picture is a fleece that would be fine. Fleece is thin and wouldn't interfere with strap tightness. The second picture is a puffy jacket that could make it so your straps aren't tight enough.
Here's an article too: http://thecarseatlady.blogspot.com/2011/01/coats-n-car-seats-are-not-safe-combo.html

@jedeve: It's kind of hard to tell how thick that is... Do you have a store nearby to check it out in person?

@Weagle: Nope.
I don't want something for the carseat though. I need something for when we are outside.
