I don't even know what board to put this under...
How old was your LO when s/he was baptized? This is assuming LO is baptized so not looking for "we didn't" responses. And, if it matters (which it might?), what religion are you?

LO was born in Nov, but we didn't baptize until March, so he was like 4/5 months. No particular reason why we waited though. He was baptized Catholic.

Nine months, Catholic. We weren't in any rush, it just happened we were making a trip to visit family then and thought we could fit it in.

Our church does adult baptism so they will be baptized when they choose to when they are older, but we do baby dedications instead. Our church only does these twice a year (may and october). My first was 2.5 months and my second will be 3 months. We are non-denominational christians.

We are having her dedicated in June so DD will be 6 months
We are Christian

DS1 was 5 months (almost 6m). He was born in Feb, so we waited until the summer so we could have the party outside.
With DS2 coming in July, I think he will be younger, also so the party can be outside.

6 months--we wanted to wait until the summer so out-of-town grandparents could come. She did great! Protestant Christian.

We took longer than average to decide. Started attending an Episcopal Church after our daughter turned one, and decided to stay, long-term. She will be baptized this summer, at two. Godfather lives out of state, so time off and travel arrangements were a consideration. We will likely baptize our hypothetical second when s/he is an infant.

We're Catholic. DS1 was baptized at 6 months, DS2 will be 3 months at his baptism.

Haven't done it yet. Catholic. Can't do adopted children until adoption is finalized, so probably not til sept.

I've attended Catholic baptisms for babies 6 mos to 2 years in age. We will likely tie in a Christian, non-denominational baptism at a year old with the first bday so more VIP family can attend both.

Catholic - 2 months to the day. Basically as soon as we could after Baptism class.

Lutheran. We probably will baptize but haven't yet and haven't been in a big hurry. Lutherans don't believe in purgatory or anything so there isn't a rush. She'll probably get it done some time between 1 year and 2.

Almost 4 months, Catholic. Our church did them almost once a month and that was the first one that worked with our and the godparents schedules. Didn't want to go later and get into winter in New England.

26 months old, a little over 2 years old-Catholic. I was lazy about doing it. LO had a lot of fun with it being older, enjoying cake and friends.

We will be doing a baby dedication sometime in the next year. She will be 1.5-2.5. Christian (non-denominational)

Catholic - both boys at about 3 months. Basically, the sooner the better. I waited until 3 months just so that I felt better - as in not as sleep deprived and no longer looked pregnant.

Catholic, 5 and 9 mo. Maybe a little old, but we had to wait for godparents to be in town!

Russian Orthodox (similar to Greek Orthodox...think My Big Fat Greek Wedding) - 6 weeks
Will likely be around the same time for LO #2.

DS was baptized at 4.5 months and DD was baptized last weekend at 3.5 months. We are Catholic.

Protestant (United Church of Canada) and she was baptized at 5 months. Was supposed to be 4 mos, but it was cancelled because of a blizzard. I was nervous about her fitting into my family's 100+ year old baptism gown because it was made for babies that were only a few days old, but we made it work !

Catholic- six months, so a little late. But all of our family is far away so it took that long to find a good time. LO #2 is due any day now and we will do his at 2 months.

Catholic and 9 months. In her group baptism there was also a 18 month old, and a 2 year old.... In the baptism class there were a few 4-5 yr olds too.

Baptism is set for almost exactly two months after he was born. We would like to have done it sooner, but had to plan around a lot of family events and all family being out of town. We are Catholic. We also set the date shortly before he was born.

Catholic and I'd like to do it around 9 months. I was baptized around then, nephew at 1 year, and my brother had to sneak his in right before his first communion at age 8!

We did a baby dedication (not baptism), and she was 7 months. I would have done it earlier, but there were set Sundays that we could pick from.
