Does anyone know of any great all in one bike trailers/jogging strollers that you can recommend? I would ideally want a jogging stroller that can somehow also be attached to a mountain bike.

I see moms pushing those kind of stroller/trailer things a lot...If I see one I'll try to look closer at the brand.

@bluestriped bee: I LOVE that first one. I like all the colors too. Going to bookmark this thread for future fun whenever we have a lo. I see moms and dads with these on the trail all the time. I'm sooo envious of the sleeping kids while I was huffing and puffing training for my first 1/2 marathon last summer!

I have used the Schwinn one and it seemed so promising but there were a lot of flaws in the construction so we had to return it and were leery of getting another one.

i have a few cousins who have chariot ones. they're pretty intense runners/bikers that get a lot of use out of it, so it was worth the $$ to them. they're are tons of accessories you can buy to use it for different things. they all LOVE them.

We literally just bought htis one last weekend and went for along bike ride. It was eay to put together and worked really well. Like I said, we just got it so I can't say how long it will hold up or how well it works as a jogging stroller. but we are happy with it as a bike trailer .

I second the Chariot brand. They are amazing quality, and (at least here) have really high resale value. The one thing, though--I don't think that they fold up to throw in the car. Am I wrong? Do some models?

@bluestriped bee: Thanks for the finds and for keeping a budget in mind for this SAHM, it's very important!
@Cole: That was my worry about that one, thanks for the input.
@mrs. bird: It looks really nice, but the price is steep. I'll see what I can find on CL since it's something DH says he'll get a lot of use out of.
@mrsmenow: Can you report back after you use it as a jogging stroller, too? I'd love your feedback.
@woodentulip: Uh oh, I'd like to know that, it would be a huge bummer if it didn't fold up!
I'm hoping to gift DH this for father's day, I'm starting to think I should have started looking sooner!

Baby Jogger makes 2 - the Pod and the Switchback. They are both pretty pricey, but I have a Baby Jogger Summit and the quality is amazing and their customer service is fantastic as well.
Joovy makes one as well - the Cocoon. They have a single and double version. They are a bit pricey too, but I have also heard wonderful things about the quality of their products.

Costco has a Via Velo jogger that converts for $199. Unfortunately, it's not on the website, and only in some stores. I think it's this one, and I'm considering it!

I'll be sure to check those out. We saw the Costco one, but before snagging that one for him I wanted to see if it was even worth it or if there are better options.

@MerryC: I've been seriously thinking of getting this one!
Also I've been looking at Burley on Craigslist, but they're all too used for the $$.

I saw the one at Costco too! $200 isn't bad to use as both but it's still a bit of money. I saw it could hold two kids so that's nice too.

CL has none of these, and the expensive ones I don't want to pay full price for even though I know how great they are. I'll give CL a couple more days otherwise, I just may snag the Costco one.

LOVE this thread because we were thinking of getting a double trailer/jogger soon!! Thanks to everyone for all the recs so far!

We have the chariot. It's pricey but we love it. It does fold up but I think the footprint might be big. I'll have to double check since we just keep ours unfolded in the garage.

Chariot is the brand I see around here. It is big looking, but you can put lots of stuff inside!

I found some Chariot ones on CL today! I'm hoping to see them this weekend, wish me luck that one works out because they are great prices!

@mrs. bird: @bluestriped bee: I'm setup to meet with the guy for pickup tomorrow, so hopefully he doesn't flake.

We got the Chariot Cougar 1 for a great price and in great condition from a nice family through CL. I already gave it to DH since we won't be home for father's day and it was tricky to hide. He really loves it, so thank you all for your help!
