This week on vacation my son had an reaction to baby sunscreen twice before I stopped using it. I was so upset!! I was using Aveeno Baby- I wanted organic baby sunscreen but there wasn't any at walgreens when I needed it in a pinch.
His eyes swelled up and he got red rash spots all over his face and head. It was soo scary. I have no idea what to try, I'm afraid of him having a reaction to any sunscreen I buy.
Does your LO have allergies/reactions to things, especially other than food?

Oh no! My LO had the same exact reaction to Episencial (i think it is organic)sunscreen last week. I did a tiny spot test on her foot a few days ago and she had the same reaction. :-(Keep me posted on your sunscreen search!

oh no!!! I wonder what ingredient he's allergic to.. 
Did he react right away?
I bought california baby sunblock for my LO and we haven't had a problem with it. I think I saw some at Target the other day.. ?
I know Whole Foods sells it.
I would do a small skin test on his arm or thighs before you buy anything. Make sure to call your pediatrician for an allergy test when you get home too!

@chopsuey119: I wonder that too, is it the active ingredient (zinc oxide) or something else? Yeah I want to try the Badger brand from Whole Foods. My sister used Dr. Mercola and I forgot to test it!
@autumnlove: So you haven't found one yet? What was the active ingredient in yours? Zinc oxide is in mine and they make some using titanium dioxide instead

@autumnlove: hm maybe try one with only one of those active ingredients? I would think that the chances are she's only allergic to one of them.
