Does anyone know if I can take allergy medicine and what brand? I was just hit with non stop sneezing and watery eyes.

I'd check with your OB first. Allergy medicines can dry you out I think.

My doctor okayed Claritin.

Sadly most allergy meds are a no go because they are designed to dry you out and therefore they negatively affect your milk supply : (

Check LactMed, but I think Claritin is okay.

My OB told me Zyrtec was OK, but I've been extra vigilant about making sure my supply doesn't fall. So far, so good.

I know Sudafed is a no-no but I think you can do Claratin.
Be careful who you talk to, my OB/pedi/pharmacist all said Sudafed is safe for breastfeeding which it is, but non of them mentioned that it would dry me up. Only the LC told me that.

I take Zyrtec and have never had any supply issues.

I know Zyrtec is safe while pregnant...
