I'm 30 weeks this week, sitting at my desk and I just looked down to see a wet spot on my shirt!!!!! I've been leaking a little colostrum for the past few weeks, but it's mostly been at night when I don't have a bra on in bed. I didn't think I'd need to wear breast pads this early! Did anyone else run into this? I don't remember reading about it anywhere...

I leaked early too. I thought that meant I'd have less issues with breastfeeding because my colostrum was in... but it didn't mean my milk would get in any quicker.

I started leaking around 30 weeks as well. It was sporadic and still only happens rarely (at 36 weeks now) so I still haven't used pads. My bras are pretty thick and my nighttime shirts I don't really care if they get stained. LOL!

I leaked around that time for a few days and that was it until DS was born. I sware my milk came in the same night he was born, so I'm not sure if leaking early had anything to do with it or not.

I started at about 26 weeks, but mostly just when I was around crying/hungry newborns (it is an occupational hazard working in NICU), I pretty much can avoid breast pads unless I am at work.

Huh. I leak occasionally at night (since 23 weeks? I'm 26 weeks now), but never in the day through clothes. Everyone's different.
