confession: i've done that too!!

in my defense, i only do it if i can get an item for close to free. i get target coupons on my phone and my shop kick phone app also gets target coupons, they often put out $3 or $5 off maternity item coupons and if i'm looking through all the clearance clothes at target and stumble across something that's been marked down to $5 or under and i can use a coupon on it to get it for nothing or a few cents- i grab it! i figure it's weird, but whatever, it means i'll have a few basics when the time comes and wont need to spend a ton on things i could have gotten for free. a white tee shirt can be worn any season, so i stick to things that i will be able to use whenever i finally end up pregnant. if not, i can hold onto them for #2! =) i think i might stop for a while when i first get pregnant though, because right now, i don't associate any of it with a pregnancy, so if i had a loss i don't think the clothes would make me sad to see. but if i was pregnant when i bought them and i had made that connection between those clothes and that pregnancy i might not wanna wear them again.

Oooh I won't do that. I'm surprisingly superstitious with things like that. At the same time, I know I'll be getting a lot of hand me down maternity clothes coming my way, so I suppose that makes it easier to resist tempation anyway.
I did by a shirt recently that now I'm wondering if it is maternity. It just fits weird, but I figure I can certainly where it while I'm pregnant at least.

That's really cute I totally picture myself doing that once we start seriously TTC later this summer. I've actually already looked online at maternity clothes, not to buy - just to get an idea of what's available and where I should shop when it happens. I'm a difficult body type to dress since I'm so short and curvy so I'm kind of dreading maternity clothes

Like @Modern Daisy: , I've nonchalantly browsed, but never purchased anything. I do however, pick some shirts to wear now that I think could double up as "maternity" shirts!

I want to but I am not letting myself until I am pregnant. I am afraid that I am going to jinx myself.
