I used to love these books as a kid! I just saw them at Target, with new illustrations. They have the early reader ones and chapter books. We are going to the library today and I'm hoping to find some to read to the girls!

There are some new ones are with Amelia as a kid. She still takes everything literally, like someone tells her "watch your step" and she gets dizzy trying to watch her feet. We have gotten them from the library and I like them but sometimes it is a lot of explaining to LO why she is confused or why it is silly.

Loved when I was little! I've gotten a few of the easy reader versions from the library and the illustrations are really cute. I feel like at 3.5/4, though, LO doesn't get what is funny. Maybe in another year or so!
