I just started watching this series . . . I really didn't want to like it (DH loves scary stuff), but that now that I am several episodes in, it is really growing on me! Anyone else find themselves an unwitting fan?

AHS! The first season was the best. Last season was just meh. I like this one so far.

I DVR'd the episodes and have only been able to watch part of the first one this season of Coven. Already I am loving the show.

@MsLipGloss: @Mamasig: Same here! I was ok with the first season but the 2nd one really freaked me out. So far I'm enjoying this new season. Jessica Lange is a BEAST - I love her.

Are the seasons linked? Like if I wanted to skip right to the new season would I be missing a ton of backstory, or are they independent stories?

@MsLipGloss: Yes! I only got about 3 episodes into the 2nd season. I agree - Jessica Lange is awesome. Did she win the Emmy for that 1st season? I think I read this is her last season?

@lovehoneybee: they are independent, but some of the same actors are in all the seasons. That confused my husband at first.

@Mamasig: I've been missing NOLA a lot lately and would love to watch a season set there, but not really wanting to commit to watching the other two seasons yet. I started the first season but I can really only watch it at night and D works late so I'm always alone with my over-active imagination, lol.

I was an unwitting fan too. I don't WANT to love a show with so much rape and violence. But it's so good. Damn it. The 1st season was my favorite but I also love seeing my city on tv. I also love coming across them filming all over the place. My wife worked as an extra for one episode and might be doing another this weekend.

I love AHS also! Have been a fan since season 1. Season 1 was the best and sooooooooooooo scary in my opinion! Season 2 was eh and kind of lame, but I am enjoying this season! I think it's a nice balance of a little scary and a good storyline.

@deerylou: Not as good as the first season but I am really enjoying this one. I would love if Nan was the Supreme, but I still think it will end up being Zoey in the end.
What are your predictions about the whole Zoey/Madison/Kyle undead threesome situation?

While I think you're right with Zoey being the supreme, I feel it's so obvious; I hope they go a different route.

@matador84: Agreed; it's a fun mix, and a good season! Although, season 1 was "eh" for me. I liked season 2, save for the alien subplot.
