I had my annual physical recently, and got my stats back.
* The good news: I lost 15 pounds, my triglycerides went down from "high" to "normal," and my "good cholesterol" went up 6 mg/dL. My fasting blood sugar also went from "impaired/pre-diabests" to "normal."
* The bad news: my bad cholesterol went up by 31 mg/dL and went from "borderline high" to "high."
I'm going to increase my exercise and decrease my consumption of fats and cheese. I'll also look to increase consumption of fiber (while avoiding sugar and wheat).
Any other ideas on how to lower my LDL cholesterol levels? I'll be going back to see the doctor again in a few months, and would like to see a big difference in that stat.
I think the adrenals are key, and over doing things can trigger negative responses in them.. I would start eating sugar , and pick up my walking/biking/insert low impact exercise here, reduce the amount of time sitting on the computer or attached to devices, don't drink too much water, and focus on some good sleep to start!
