Okay so we have a TON of time to plan but not being Jewish myself I am SO lost on how all this works. Before I met my wonderful Jewish husband I always expected our children would be blessed in a church rather that have a bris, and while both will happen, I am SO lost on how bris' and naming ceremonies work.
We find out this weekend for sure what we are having but I am almost 99.9% sure its a boy. I always imagined my kids being able to wear my christening gown from when I was christened as a baby at their blessing/dedication. Since I am not 100% sure we will be able to do the blessing/dedication and I wont be doing a christening, would it be weird if I had my son wear my christening gown still?
If we have a girl then I am far less worried but I have no ideas what boys even wear. Thoughts?
