I was on Loestrin 24 for many years (not sure if it's the same thing?) and never had withdrawl bleeding. I did have a very light period every month though.

Bumping this for you to see if anyone else has any thoughts!

Weird! I was on loestrin but always have a period and my cycles stayed really normal. In fact they regulated my cycle

I was on Loestrin 24 and had an extremely light "period" each month. I remember once I got off, I got my regular period a month later.

I was on LoestrinFE 24 for around 7 years. For the last couple years I was taking it I would get short periods 3 or 4 times a year. I stopped midpack and got some breakthrough bleeding for about 2 days five days after stopping. I was nervous how my body would react off since I didn't get normal periods - I got pregnant my first cycle off.

Hi! I did not have any withdrawal bleeding after stopping Loestrin. During Loestrin I just had very mild spotting instead of AF (almost didn't even need a liner). After Loestrin I got AF at the same schedule that I had the spotting (i.e. every 28 days). Not sure if this makes any sense Basically my body stayed on the same schedule, AF just got heavier once OFF of Loestrin. But no withdrawal bleeding.

ETA: Regarding your latest comment, I basically didn't have a period either and I got pregnant very quickly. First cycle trying Unfortunately it didn't stick, but that had nothing to do with the Loestrin.

I was on loestrin fe for 3 or 4 years and went off in November. We got our BFP in February, although I had very short cycles for awhile coming off of it.

I was on loestrin 24 for many years without a period as well. I was really nervous and was scouring for info, but too nervous to post yet anyway, no withdrawal bleed for me either, but had seriously sore boobs. Like showering hurt, the first month off. Got my period after 28 days. Then pretty normal periods, with a little bit if adjusting of my luteal phase for a couple months. Got pregnant after two months of ntnp, and three ttc.

@susans: I was hoping the same thing. I came off Lo loestrin June 2nd. started a round of provera to start period since I hadn't had one in 6 months. It has now been 51 days since I stopped bc and no signs of period.

@Myranda: I took loestrin for about 8 years then switchex to loloestrin when they stopped making loestrin. Husband and I got married and I stopped taking it and I got pregnant like 3 months later. We weren't trying and weren't preventing, we were just open to whatever happened. My gynecologist told me it's normal to take 6 months to a year or more to conceive after being on bc for so long so honestly I thought I had at least 6 months until I was going to quit smoking, cut back on drinking. I think it's best to stay positive, don't think about it too much and try to stay healthy. I work out regularly (running) and eat healthy, before getting pregnant I just smoked and drank a lot. I smoked like a pack or two a week and drank probably few times a week so stay positive and healthy, good luck to you!
