We're huge Settlers players, as well as Dominion (and all the expansions) and we just learned Puerto Rico which is AWESOME. As well as Carcassone. We also love Cutthroat Uno... so simple but SO fun.

mr. bee and i only play scrabble (and we're not that good) once in awhile.

There's another great game called Saboteur. Almost every person we've introduced that game to has ordered it for themselves. It's super fun... kind of like Mafia, with cards.
We used to do a game night every month... we were just talking about how we should start that up again!

LOVE board games, but I've never played the ones you mention! We actually have a bookshelf dedicated to board games. We have several different types of Monopoly (4), Scrabble (3), Risk (4), Clue (3), and Trivial Pursuit (3), though. Game night favorites with friends include Bananagrams, Monopoly Deal, Cranium, Taboo and Guesstures. I'm going to look into these games I've never heard of now!

Wow, have to check out some of the games you listed. I've only played scrabble and settlers (Love!). Game night sounds fantastic, especially now that we stay at home a lot.

We play lots of card and dice games, such as Rummy, Hand and Foot, and Farkle, but we also love board games like Scrabble, Catch-phrase, Yahtzee Free for All, and more. Our favorite evening is spent with hulu and later the wii or cards.

I have never heard of any of the games on your first list! I love board games and card games but my husband despises games that involve other people (he loves his video games, though....). So, I hardly ever get to play games.

I love board games, would love to host a game night but right now all of our friends (like us) have babies <1 yr old, which makes it tricky. What games do you all play with 2 people? I am always trying to get my husband to play board games, but we don't really know what to do with just the 2 of us.

We do play a lot of board and card games. Lately we've been playing Blokus, Risk, Life, Skip-bo, Phase 10, and Dominos. Another one of my favorites is Star Wars Trivial Pursuit. We love Pictionary as well, but we don't have that one since we can't play with just two people.

We love Settles of Catan. It sounds totally geeky, but it's fun.

Dominion, Settlers, and Puerto Rico are all faves in our house. But Cranium is #1. And Taboo. And Scrabble.

Have you heard of bang? It's like Mafia but more sophisticated and complex with its own set of cards. Such a fun party game!
