I buy things there when they are on sale. Example - today I was able to get a 2lb bag of shrimp (large shrimp, not tiny ones) for $17. I feel like that is a good deal.

I also find their produce to be very good quality and sometimes really good prices. You have to wait and watch for the prices, though. They send a mailer that notes their sales of the month.

I'm not a recent convert... But I love them. M went for the first time since baby and 200 sz 1 Huggies were $38 and over 1000 natural care wipes were about $25 seemed like a good price.

Yup! Costco trips actually filled my need to shop at Target. I still go to Target but it's definitely gone down.

@Mrs. J: We shopped at costco even before we had a kid. If you are cloth diapering, you must do lots of laundry? Laundry detergent is much cheaper there than other places like target. If you feed your LO the fruit and veggie pouches, they have that also. I recommend it!

Costco is great if you can use and store large amounts. We are a family of three, so I have to plan to freeze perishables because we can't always use them before they go bad and sometimes, I like more variety than what they have.
I like it for large purchases, our patio furniture is from there.

You can go there and tell them you want to look around. Both Sam's club and Costco lets you browse without a membership. At least, that's what my local stores allowed.

I get eggs, milk, rotisserie chicken, fruit, greek yogurt, paper goods, pet products, computer paper, stationary supplies, electronic goods (like printer ink), canned goods, pasta, movie tickets, shrimp, lawn care items, sonicare tooth brush refills, clothes, and liquor and beer (WA allows them to sell it).

Oh, seasonal items like beach towels and christmas lights.

Most of the gift cards are buy $100 worth for only $79-$80. That's 20% off if you buy it to a local restaurant.

So they're a bulk warehouse but their items go on sale? We don't have a Costco but there will be one soon within the next year. I'm interested to see what the hype is about. We have BJs and I love it because they have good prices that are made better by their coupons AND you can stack manf coupons!

Love Costco! Dried blueberries, ready to cook pizza, almond milk, granola, oatmeal, toilet paper, printer ink... The list goes on and on!
