Right now we are at 17 DPO (usual LP of 12 days), took a few pregnancy tests that were all negative (last one was on Saturday), took a blood test on Saturday that we still don't have the results for(any day now), and are waiting. I know that Saturday was only a few days ago, but it feels like an eternity! We just want to know if we should be celebrating or preparing to try again.
Anybody else in limbo right now?

Well the fact that you still haven't gotten AF is a good sign, so fingers crossed she stays away and you guys have something to celebrate!

Hope you get a bfp!!! We're not trying, but we're not preventing either. LO is 11 months old and I've had 3 periods so far. I totally freak myself into thinking in pregnant every mOnth!

@MerryC: Normally Kaiser is awesome about getting test results back within a day or two, and I know that since we did them on Saturday, we should expect some sort of delay, but every time I check my email I get all hopefuly and then nothing! It's funny how this whole process goes! lol

Ohh, that's so frustrating, MaisyMay. I had a cycle like that back in October/November - 50 days and no BFP to speak of. For me, I figured it was mostly stress (my FIL died suddenly). But either way, its still extremely annoying to wait and wait. How crazy is it that you've had to wait this long for your HCG results!
Keep us posted - I really want to know how you make out! -
@redsmarties: We chart so we know when we ovulated, and now it's just a matter of waiting. Every time I check my email I get my hopes up! It's getting ridiculous.

I think my cycle is long this time. I had minimal spotting the day it was "due"... which happened to be about dpo8-10 ... I think. 5 days later and AF still hasn't shown up and I am amassing quite a collection of BFNs. I have had all kinds of cramping leading up to the spotting so something is going on, I just don't know what.
Hope you have test results soon and they are positive!

@Mrs. Jacks: We POAS a few times, three days ago being the last one. I wanted to pick up one today, but Hubs wouldn't let me, so I told him that if we didn't have the blood work by 9 p.m. he had to go get the tests for me!
@cupcakemama: For the first time ever I had ovulation spotting, so I really am hoping that this is the month!

...and I just emailed my doctor to find out the turn-around on hCG tests and found out that he's out of the office until Thursday. Hopefully I have some sort of answer this week from somebody!

@Mrs. Jacks: I did last night and got a BFN.
My temps started to drop this morning, so I'm losing hope. Part of me is wondering now if it was a positive that lost quickly, so the hCG test should help with that. Or maybe my LP is just nuts (today is 18 dpo) and I had some bug that was making me feel so exhausted for all of last week? I guess it's still a wait and see game but I'm not sure any more.

I am out as well. BFNs coming out the wazoo. I think my cycle is just crazy. I have had 1 period (last month) since having LO and I think it will take a few cycles for things to settle down. Which really scares me as I don't have much time and I really want LO #2.

@MaisyMay: the same thing happened to me this month! I only got to CD15. (12 day LP), but I was totally convinced I was pregnant. Then I looked back at my chart and I might have actually O'd three days later than FF said. I looked at your chart on the other thread and it looks looks like you may have O'd around 7 days later than what FF told you, which would put you right on time.

@MaisyMay: Ugh, that's soooooo frustrating for you!!! I hope you get an answer SOON, just so that you know what's going on. The not-knowing is the worst, I think.
I'm in semi-limbo, but not like you. I'm 11DPO today and last month, that's when AF showed up. Today my temp is up instead of down, so I have no idea what's going. I had some spotting yesterday, so I'm assuming AF is right around the corner though.

Ladies, thanks for all of your support. My doctor got back to me and the test from Saturday was negative, so I've sent him an email asking about why my LP is wonky, and to see if there is anything else we can do to increase our chances of getting pregnant. He's mentioned before that we might be able to see a specialist after a little while. Maybe it's time to do that.
