Any bees out there who over came a short luteal phase?

I'm dealing with a short LP. (avg 9-10 days). So far, I've yet to beat it. I took B complex for about 8 months, I want to say? Didn't see any results...in fact, my LP started to get SHORTER.
I realize that's not helpful. Just commiserating

My LP is 9-10 days too, when I temp I have actually got only 8 high days sometimes. Doctor doesn't recognise it as a real thing so any medical treatments are out of the question...

@doxielove: hopefully someone will be able to give us both encouragement.

@Snowdrop: I think finding a new doctor sounds like a good start! My period has been short since I had my daughter, but I'm ovulating earlier, and still averaging a 14 day luteal phase. My doctor said she would only be concerned if the second half of my cycle was shortening...so obviously she recognizes a short luteal phase as a possible isse.

I thought I did- I charted while I had my paragard in and LP was 7-9 days. I did some research on how to increase it. Vitamin B complex (take more), progesterone, and clomid all can help. I would consider a new doctor.

I agree with @MamaMoose: it sounds like it might be time to look into a second opinion. LP defects are real things, and getting on progesterone can often help. But if your doctor won't even talk about it, then that seems to be a waste of your time.
Hoping you can get someone who will listen to you!

@MamaMoose: @AmeliaBedilia: @LovelyPlum: I don't know if this will help with the NHS, we don't really have the choice in England and I've looked up the NICE guidleness, it oesn't look promising. It's so upsetting because I know there are things that can help!

@Snowdrop: after going off the pill mine was 7-8 days. I got pregnant and had a mc. Then I took vit b complex and for three months it increased by a day, then got pregnant with DD. Good luck I hope you get answers!

@psw27: do you mind if I ask how long it took and if you had any signs of implantation? Do you think you implanted really early? Did you get a BFP on the day AF was due? Sorry for the million questions! And most of all, congratulations

I have a friends who had a LPD, used progesterone to get pregnant twice and just delivered her third - an OOPS baby! No progesterone this time!

I was a lucky first timer - I definitely could tell when I had implantation and I had some pink cm. I think I tested at 8 days post O and I was expecting AF that night or early the next morning.

Mine was 8-9 days for almost a year, then 10, then 11, then 13, then bfp. My doctor refused to confirm my suspicions, but the only thing I can attribute it too was finally getting my prolactin regulated. I never tried b vitamins or anything else.
