DS is 6.5 months and I still leak like a faucet! I thought BFing was supposed to save me money, but I spend so much on nursing pads (both disposable and rewashable) that it doesn't feel like it. Ugh, I'm going to have to change my shirt, because my left breast just sprung a leak. When does it end?????

some women leak a lot. i was one of them. i forgot when i stopped using breastpads, but i leaked for a very long time... even after 1! but now i definitely don't need them.... at 21 months!

Have you heard of Milkies? It's not practical to wear them 24/7 but if one breast leaks while you're nursing you might throw one on the other breast! Saves milk and reduces the number of disposable pads!

@Katrocap: I'm 9 mo. PP and I still leak. I love when I get out of the shower and forget my boob pads.. soon there after I'm thinking about LO and so are my boobs.. shirt ruined.
Luckily I'm usually still at home when this happens.

another serial leaker here, Milkies were awesome. I stopped leaking at like 8 months I think

I have heard people around here mention them before as well, and it's all been pretty positive.

i used milkies because i leaked all the time! i still leak from one side when she's nursing the other, but i was able to get off daytime nursing pads around 4 months and nighttime around 5? i still leak through if she sleeps too long, but i'm usually at home at that point! i thought it would never end!!
Luckily I'm usually still at home when this happens.
