Interestingly, not at all that first year, he was sick once, I didn't get it.

My son is 6 and in public school and he's the sickest he's ever been and I am about a week behind in catching everything he's had.

My son and I both had a stomach bug and a cold this week. He started daycare two weeks ago. This is the first time he's been sick, and the first time in probably years for me. Blech.

All of the time. When we switched daycares last year, we had a whole another year of new illnesses. My youngest gets it the worst. In the new year, he's going to see an ENT for possible tubes since he's had a lot of ear infections. I like to think that this is the trenches time that it gets better when they're in elementary school.

DS is almost constantly sick and DH and I get about 1/2 to 1/3 of whatever he picks up. I'd really like to know how many different things can possibly go around that make a person vomit. Ugh.

The first year, never. He wasn't in daycare so I think we avoided a ton of germs that way. I stayed healthy the whole year and he was sick for the first time around 11 months.

More than before she was in daycare but nothing horrible. The worst was getting bronchitis when she had HFM but she's out of daycare for 10 weeks during summer break and she was over one.

I think once, I had a cold.

I SAH ft then and was a total germophobe!

When she started preschool she brought home a ton of colds, pink eye, she had pneumonia, stomach bugs. She was 3 but at that point had a newborn brother!

i don't think i was ever. i got the flu a week before DD1 was born though!

I had a few stomach bugs and strep once during LO1's first year of life. I had a horrible kidney infection and pneumonia during LO2's first year of life. I have probably been ill more times in the last 4 years (age of my oldest) than I have in the last 15 years!

All the germs...we get all the germs.

I had strep, mastitis, and a couple stomach bugs. A little more than normal for me and it was awful because I was semi-single parenting. It was soooo hard to be sick and have no help taking care of the baby.

When I had my 2nd child, I got pneumonia and a kidney infection and that was awful! I had to have help then. I was nursing too and it totally freaked me out.

Somehow I rarely caught anything until I got pregnant again (lo is 2.25 now). I do stay home with her and my friends are intense germaphobes who don't go out when their kids have a runny nose though which helps-I'm not like that but I do appreciate that it helped us!
