DD (25 months) is still waking up at her "old" time - which translates to 5:15am now, and which I can not handle!
We are putting her to bed at her normal bedtime, 7/7:30ish, but like clockwork every morning she is up and ready to play at 5:15. It's driving me crazy!

My LO adjusted her bedtime and wakeup time (5:25, but not 4:25) but she didn't adjust her after daycare routine. She still wants to play outside with the neighborhood kids. We've had meltdowns outside every day do far because I cannot get her in the house.

the first night, he slept until 7am (usually gets up at 6am) and i was like sweet! since then, he's woken up at 4.30am (we put him down around 7pm). i told my husband that i want to inject coffee directly into my eyeballs to help me stay awake.

She used to get up at 7:00 and now gets up at 6:00. It's not horrible, but I wish she would sleep later.

My DD (26 months) is also waking up an hour earlier too-- around 5-5:30 (but still going to bed around the same time which means an hour less sleep). I was really hoping she'd have adjusted by now!

We've had weirdness all around. He's going to bed at the same time, 8pm which is really 9pm and he's getting up at 7 (or earlier) when he commonly wasn't up till 8. I was really hoping for earlier bedtime!

She is still waking up earlier. Last night we put her to bed earlier and she slept later. I actually had to wake her up this morning to go to day care. Going to try the earlier bedtime tonight too.

She's still waking up early--extremely early, like 4 am early. We constantly struggle with sleep in our house and right before the time change, we'd finally gotten her "sleeping in" till about 5 am, which is now 4 am.
This morning she was up from 4-6 am, then went back to sleep and slept till 7:30. Sigh. She typically can't go back to sleep because we leave at 6:35 am, but I have today off so she got some extra sleep.
It's kind of killing us.

D is all kinds of messed up. I think it's a combination of DST and sickness. Needless to say, we're all cranky and sleep-deprived.

Well I feel a little better that at least I'm not the only one! I hope all of these kiddos get the hang of the new time ASAP!

DD slept until 6:15 this morning = alleluia! Hoping she is on track now and that it wasn't just a fluke. It seriously felt luxurious to get out of bed at 6 and shower without her hanging out in the bathroom!

We adjusted bedtime for about a week beforehand...getting 15 minutes later every week and letting him sleep 15 minutes later. His nap is screwed up though. He was on nap strike prior to DST due to his teeth and finally settled back into a routine for 3 days...and he's back on nap strike.

Just today did she start sleeping until her normal time of 6:45. 7 would be better but I'll take this over 6am!

Daycare mentioned today that the kids haven't adjusted yet. She said they are all getting antsy as it gets dark and parents haven't picked them up. They added an outside playtime at 4:45 to try to distract from the pick up fussiness. It's really hard for the small daycare to man the door and watch the kids outside though.

@Mrs. D: I wish our province wouldn't switch.
We were just starting to get good sleep. The first day he woke up at 5am (so 6am for him) which is sleeping in. Then we had a few days of early wake ups. Today was a normal 5:15, which is much better. But getting him to bed this week has been all over the place. Some nights good, others like tonight not so good.

@HappyBaker: yes same here. my LO (17mo) had a dream schedule of 7pm-7am. Now even if we put him to bed at 7pm he is up at 530 or 6am! ack! I hope it stops soon.

Shes waking up an hour earlier. Used to rise at 7:45/8 and now rises at 6:45/7.
Can't even imagine having to wake up any time before 6.....y'all are saints.

My son is still waking an hour earlier on occasion. It's hit or miss.
