Finding Dory comes out this weekend, yay! We won't go see it this weekend but likely the following week. I think I'm more excited about it than my LO. We debated taking both LO's but my youngest is only 2 and I don't think she will make it through the whole thing, so we will just buy the DVD for her, since she is a big fan of Nemo!

I really want to but I don't think my oldest is ready yet. I really want to watch the movie myself so it would be more than just general disappointment if it didn't work out. We will likely.wait until the DVD comes out

We are going in Tuesday or Wednesday. I am taking LO1 (3.5), LO2 (11 weeks), and my sister-in-law. LO1's BFF (4) is coming with his mom. My daughter has seen 3-4 movies in theater at this point, so she will be fine. My SIL is coming in case I need to take the baby out.

We might try next week. We're on vacation on the cape, and if we have a rainy day there's not much to do, so we'll go see that. DS has all of a sudden become obsessed with Nemo, so I think he'll like it. It'll be his first movie in theaters, and he's only 2.5, so I'm not sure how it'll go. But it'll be daytime during the week at a kids' movie, so hopefully even if he's not great, we won't really be bothering people.

I'm going to see it tonight with my husband! We don't have any kids yet, but I loved Finding Nemo (which we went to see the first month we started dating when I was 15), so I've been looking forward to this movie!

Definitely! We'll probably wait a few weeks, though. Hubs and I hate crowded movies.
ETA: Oh, we're taking D, who doesn't do well with crowds, either - another reason we'll wait a couple of weeks. A will stay home with one of our parents.

My sister just asked if she and her teen daughters can take my daughters (2 and 4) while on a vacation in a few weeks. I'm excited someone is offering so I can just enjoy their first trip to a movie theatre - I think they'll do great!
Those of you going - have your kiddos seen Finding Nwmo, or does it not matter?

We went today! I was laughing more than anyone in my row. We are all big fans of Finding Nemo. It was LO's first favorite movie.

@808love: it really was...I was wondering if I had great expectations, but I wasn't to be disappointed. Just love the animation and the characters. And of course my 2.5 year old LOVED it, and was glued to his seat and couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the day

@LuLu Mom: Awww yes, couldn't get Baby Dory's voice out of my head. The reviews were saying the new characters were super awesome and I was skeptical but they were right. Just such a fun movie. Totally satisfying.
I ate lunch with 4 fourth graders today and they had all seen it this weekend...and loved it.
