Charlie spiked an on-and-off temperature starting Wednesday evening, plus a sore throat. When we noticed a rash forming on his back and face plus a "strawberry tongue", we made an appointment to get him checked out.

The pediatrician said that it was scarlet fever! She prescribed antibiotics, and recommended we stock up on popsicles for his sore throat. I remember having scarlet fever as a kid and it wasn't so bad., so I'm hoping he has a pretty fast recovery.

Anyone else had a kid with scarlet fever? Wondering if there's anything else we can do!
