I'm looking for a convertible seat for DS but I have a 2 door car.
Is it a large carseat? I want to put it in the middle but im worried about the height of it and if i will be able to see out of the back window. It's on sale on amazon right now. I was also going to see if buy buy baby had it in stock to see it in person.
Also does anyone know the difference between the RXT and the R100 models? They seem virtually the same to me but the measurements are different and the R100 is cheaper.

It is taller than the britax seats, I could probably see over it if I put it in the middle of my car, but I can't say for sure.

I have it and like it. It's tall, but not as wide as many other seats.

We're planning to get this one. I did some searching on car-seat.org and think it will work in our car...you could check there maybe and see if anyone with a similar car has experience?

We have it. It is taller than many seats. It's hard to say how it will work in each individual car, though.

We tried it in our car, and it was too tall for me. I'm average height, and we have an Acura TL.

@Weagle: yeah I'm pretty short so now I think it may be too tall! Car seat shopping is hard!

@Katrocap: yes it's such a pain. And buying a new car is not an option because I love my car (and its only a year old) haha. DS hasn't outgrown his infant seat yet so I have some time. But we are planning on buying 2 seats for each of our cars so I'd like to space it out a bit!

I have it, but can't discuss how it is RF and in the center. My DD currently uses it behind me and FF (she's 5.5 yo). Great seat though! Perhaps try to find a local store that will let you try it in your car before buying? We did that with the store, The Right Start.
